Lighting a cigarette I blew the smoke out of my lips as I thought of how red had rejected me not once but more than once .

I wasn’t a patient person and I wasn’t about to start being a patient person .

“Bro What’s up ” my second right hand man and best friend Seth greeted .

“I’m good how are things at the hotel ” I asked

“Perfect bro but there’s a little problem ” he replied as he took a seat to talk beside me .

“What?!” I yelled as I sat upright .

“The shipments are having issues at the boarders and they are stuck ” he said

“I don’t understand are those officers useless I pay those officers bunch of money to help not ruin my business ” I replied

“Yes Jay but one person backed out along the line said he wasn’t interested anymore ” Seth said .

Smirking I shook my head “ That’s the problem with humans , you give them a golden opportunity and they feel they have a say even after signing a deal with a dangerous person . He thinks it’s that easy to go against me he won’t know what hit him , Get he’s background details ” I said .

“Alright sure will send bongi to bring it ” he replied as he stepped out .

My thoughts drifted back to the Philips daughter of course her looks were perfect but she was trouble and stubborn .

Remembering when I first met her at the club and the fact she gave me a fake name , I smiled absentmindedly as I remembered her facial expressions when she walked in today as I was the least person she expected to see .

She was tough and a challenge , something about me was that I always loved being challenged and solving puzzles.

The battle line has been drawn RED you just found yourself in my trap I thought .

HARRIET POV

“Hey Harriet ” Cassy greeted as we walked in

“Hey” I replied greeting her

“So how did the remaining day at work go ”she asked

“Stressful, hectic , trust me you won’t like it” I said .

“You missing something out ? You look like you had a confrontation with someone you don’t like ” Cassy asked

“You know me so well. I walk into a meeting the moment you left and I meet no other than some club guy I met the last time at the club ” I said .

“Club ? Guy? I’m confused ” she said

“The guy I told my name was red ” I reply

I heard a loud laugh coming from Cassy

“Who would have thought same guy you lied to would appear at your workplace . Bravo !”she said as she kept laughing

“It’s not funny Cassy I still feel he’s stalking me like seriously he keeps arguing on my points during the meeting and insisted we have dinner together ” I replied.

“First Stephen mayor then who’s this guy ” she asked

“Made some research I think he’s Jay Wilson ” I said

“Hmmm I think I have heard that name somewhere before ” she said as tried thinking .

Meanwhile my mind was filled with the scenes that took place between both of us as I wondered if it was coincidence or he was actually stalking me , but if he was stalking me what would he gain I thought .
