Minutes later the security guards rushed in just in time . “Get rid of him please ” I said as I pointed towards Mario’s direction.

“I’m not so easy to get rid of him princess trust me soon we would be so close that you can’t avoid me ” he replied smirking .

“Security take him out please” I repeated

The moment he was escorted out I sat down as my head began to ache me , only Mario could piss me off in such a way that it would lead to headache .

Checking my documents I decided to send them after I already signed to my secretary as I picked up my bags heading out of the office .

“Where to m’aam?” My driver said as I approached towards his direction .

“My cousins house Cassy ” I replied .

Taking a deep breath I adjusted my self as I laid my head on the seat thinking of how I wanted to start afresh .

Reaching the door step I waited as I rung the doorbell .

“Hey cousin ” Cassy greeted smiling widely at me

“You don’t look happy ” she said .

“Well I already had a bad day at work Mario already spoiled the day for me ” I replied .

“Wait ?! Mario like the same Mario ”she asked surprised .

“Yea he created a chaos had to order the security to throw him out he seemed so confident that something could happen between us , he also looked violent at some point it was so scary I’m not going to lie even though I looked strong ” I said

“Hmmmmm” she replied .

“You don’t look surprised I literally just said he looked violent ” I said

“Well I’m not surprised ” she said avoiding eye contact..

“Wait meaning you have heard of him being violent I could use that to get him behind bars then my parents won’t pair us together cause they don’t want their reputation ruined ” I said as I felt happy that I could help my self

“It’s not that easy Harriet it doesn’t work that way and besides I didn’t say I have evidence he looks like one that could be violent ” she said

“So what do you suggest ” I asked

“Let’s forget about Mario and your parents case and just have fun ” she replied

“Okayyy so what do you want us to do ” I asked

“How about I prepare dinner before you go ” she said

“You definitely want to burn down my Aunty’s house ” I said laughing hard

“Sit and watch and if it’s tasty you owe me lunch tomorrow ”she said

“Okayy chef ” I replied as I sat down going through my Instagram feed while she cooked

“Haven’t seen your mum for long is she coming back early today ” I asked

“She should be back later at night she left early though ”she replied her full attention on what she was cooking .

“Okayy this food better be tasty cause she seem so serious “ I replied

“No teasing Harriet just watch and judge while eating ” she replied laughing

An hour later , the meal was ready as we settled down to eat surprisingly the meal was so nice with a shock expression on my face as I enjoyed the meal .

“So??” She asked grinning so hard

“It’s perfect I’m not going to lie ” I replied .

“I told you ” she said .

After the meal we gisted as we laughed so hard cracking jokes and laughing .

Opening the door to my house I walked in as I felt happy after spending time with Cassy

“Stop there young lady ” I heard my father say

“Yes father ” I replied

“How could you do such a stupid act ” he yelled

Surprised he was yelling because I knew it was always mother who did the yelling .

“Huh ? What did I do father ” I asked confused

“Ohhh don’t act dumb or surprised ” mother said walking in

Rolling my eyes of course they had to be together which meant two against one .

“Why would you throw your fiancée out of your office do you not have any single respect anymore I didn’t raise you this way young lady ” he yelled .

“Okay first I’m confused raised me this way you were barely around I mean Greta Ma practically raised me .

Secondly ,with all due respect father he is not my fiancée I don’t want to get married to him , he doesn’t even respect or have respect towards me so why would I respect him ” I replied

“Woman control your daughter ” he yelled to mother walking out .

I heard mother murmur but I could barely hear what she said.

Rolling my eyes again I knew I was in a second sermon .

“Listen young lady , I will not have you create chaos in my household or misunderstanding between my husband and I so therefore fix this attitude of yours and go and apologize to Mario before it’s too late ” she said

“Apologize ?! I will do no such thing at all why would I . You didn’t bother to hear my own side of the story , you already concluded I’m at fault and wrong ” I replied walking out .

“I don’t need to here your side I know you are at fault HARRIET PEARL BETTY PHILPS Get back here this minute you don’t walk out of me while I’m still speaking to you ” she yelled at me.

Without replying I kept walking as I headed to my room they always knew how to spoil my mood at every opportunity they had .
