“You have been smiling weirdly Harriet let me guess zack’s memory I may have never been love struck person but I can tell you really loved the guy so much .

But Harriet it’s time you think on moving on I’m sure he will not want you to keep harboring in sadness and memories .

Raising her hands in surrender “yes ma’am it’s okay ”

The knock on the door “”interrupted our conversation

“Come in ” I replied

“Ma’am the CEO has requested that you come for the board meeting ” the receptionist said

“Isn’t it 5:00pm closing time so why the meeting ” I said

“It’s an emergency meeting ”she replied .

“Alright give me a few minutes and please call me Harriet not ma’am ” I replied .

“Okay Ma—Harriet” she replied smiling .

“Really ?! Work ?! Damn your parents !!” Cassy yelled .

“Trust me I know ” I replied

“I’m sorry if I triggered your emotions but I was just trying to help you ” Cassy said as she hugged me .

“It’s okay I should leave before I’m suspended ” I replied laughing as I hugged her .

Opening the door to the board meeting I already saw everybody seated as I whispered “sorry I’m late ” while heading to my seat

Bringing out my files and arranging it I looked round but was shocked as I saw the same face that I spoke with at the club that night .

With an arrogant smirk written all over his face he smiled “ you are very punctual miss ” he said raising his eyebrows .

“Is that supposed to be a sarcastic statement sir” I replied

“Harriet stop this is a board meeting ” my dad said hushing me .

Hours later after everyone has successfully given their presentation

“Mr Jay Wilson are you okay with the presentations and willing to trust our firm with production ” my father said .

So his name is Jay Wilson I thought as I tried to remember if that was the name he was called that day .

“I’m yet to fully trust this firm because if the CEO’s daughter who is a board member can’t be punctual so why should I trust a contract worth millions to you” he asked

My fathers angry face showed how disappointed he felt towards me at that moment “ okay please let’s just be given a trial ” father said

Looking towards my direction he stared at me as I moved my eyes cause I felt uncomfortable “okay two weeks trial only” Jay Wilson replied

After the board meeting everybody cleared our remaining Jay and I

“I’m not surprised you are late RED another late club night ” he said

“ is that why you choose not to approve the contract immediately ” I replied

“If I had known you worked here I should have come here since Red” he said

“ can you stop calling me RED” I replied irritated .

“Well I’m sorry red but that’s the name you gave to me” he said lifting up his car keys as he walked out
