In the international airport of City A.
Wearing a white chiffon shirt and black high-waisted trousers, Ann Wilson walked out of the airport exit in 10cm stiletto heels.
She was tall, with short, neat and ear-length hair that revealed her white, slender neck, and a delicate face beneath her dark glasses. She is as beautiful and graceful as any female star on the screen.
This caused many people to involuntarily look at her.
Ann stopped at the gate of the airport, her eyes narrowed behind her sunglasses and she looked up at the blue sky.
After three years she finally returned to City A. A variety of emotions intertwined and her heart temporarily had mixed feelings.
Ann's phone rang and she took it out to find a message from her friend Fanny Jones.
Come to B Bar as soon as you get off the plane, or I will catch you!
Ann pursed her lips and smiled. Fanny really hasn't changed a bit from what she used to.
She flagged down a taxi and headed to B Bar.
Half an hour later, Ann got off in front of the bar.
She walked in with ease.
The bar was brightly lit and the music was blaring. Frowning, she looked around but could find no one.
She took out her phone and sent Fanny a message: Where are you?
The message was quickly returned: I'm in Box 9, come on in!
Ann put away her cell phone and walked to Box 9.
Box 6.
The handsome man sat on the sofa, his long legs crossed, his strong chest visible in a black shirt with the top two buttons unbuttoned at random.
His eyes drooped as he stared at the red liquid swaying gently in the glass, and a chill came from all over him.
"Brandon, while you're out hanging out, could you stop being such a wet blanket?"
Brandon Evans reacted to Gavin Davis's disapproval by curling his lips and saying, "You don't have to call me out."
"Do you think I want to? I just heard you didn't leave the office for two months. I was kind enough to drag you out for a drink because I was afraid you'd die young in the office."
Brandon glanced at him. "Mind your own business, you are nosy."
Being choked over and over, Gavin was so angry that his chest hurt. He shouted angrily at Brandon, "Yes! I'm nosy! I should have left you to die of overwork at a young age!"
Gavin jumped up and down in anger as Brandon continued to look unmoved. He took the glass in front of him and slammed the empty glass down on the table.
Gavin was so angry that he grabbed one of the hostesses and shoved it into Brandon's arms.
Don't you hate it when a woman is near you? ! I'm giving you a hard time today.
"You! Be with him today."
Brandon's face darkened for a moment, radiating a chilling aura. He was about to throw the woman out of his arms when the compartment door opened
Brandon stared at Ann in disbelief as his dark pupils shrank.
"Fanny, I'm here. You..."
Ann was in the middle of her sentence when she realized something was wrong. After three years, Fanny would have jumped on her arms and knees and hugged her.
Looking up, Ann's eyes met those deep ones.
She held her breath and her hair stood on end.
Brandon!
Why is he?
Why do I have to run into him as soon as I get back?
Her eyes fell on the soft woman in his arms, and then, with a sarcastic smile on her lips, she swallowed all emotion.
Ann said simply, "Sorry, I'm in the wrong room." Pull the door behind you and leave.
The cabin door closed and the temperature dropped several degrees.
Gavin looked at Brandon's uncertain face and whispered, "If I'm not mistaken, was that Ann? When did she come back?"
Gavin's question went unanswered. Brandon threw the woman in his arms aside and chased her out with a cold face.
Outside the balcony corridor.
Ann gave a little laugh. It's just not her day. He was the last person she wanted to see, but she was the first to see him when she returned home.
She remembered how stupid she had been to mistake Box 6 for 9.
Suddenly, her thin wrists were clenched hard. Before Ann knew it, she was pushed against the wall of the hallway after a dizzy moment.
The smell was familiar and strange.
Ann was shocked.
Her delicate chin was pinched and heaved. She was forced to stare into Brandon's dark eyes.
Two eyes have deep invisible emotions.
Brandon curled his lips, his smile was evil, but his eyes were cold.
"We haven't seen each other for three years. Aren't you going to say hello? Ann!"
He said the last word with such force that it seemed to be squeezed through his teeth.
Ann looked at Brandon with a smile on her face and said, "I haven't seen him for three years. I feel so honored that Mr. Evans still remembers me."
This made the man's face look worse and worse, and his grip on her chin became harder and harder.
Ann smiled calmly under Brandon's straight stare.
"Why did you come back?”
"Ann! Why did you come back? For..." Me?
Before Brandon could finish his words, a figure rushed over with a rush of fire, pushed Brandon away, and protected Ann behind him, staring angrily at him.
"Brandon! What do you want to do with Ann? ! I tell you, if you bully her like you did three years ago, I'll not let you go!"
Brandon's face went black and his eyes were fixed on Fanny.
"Get out off my face!”
Fanny winced and gulped in fear.
Ann noticed, and she took Fanny's hand and stood in front of her.
Facing Fanny's worried eyes, she shook her head.
Ann looked at Brandon. "Mr. Evans, I don't remember that we could just meet and talk. Next time when you see me, just forget about it and pretend we don’t know each other. I have something to do. I have to go."
Brandon stood there, breathlessly cold, as Ann left without looking back, until Gavin pulls him back to his box.
Brandon said "get out" to the hostess next to him. Gavin quickly gave her a wink and asked her to leave.
Brandon began to pour himself a drink without saying a word. No one noticed that his hand was shaking on his right side.
Fanny pulled Ann into the box.
Cassie Johnson saw her come in with a black face and asked, "Is something wrong?"
"Yeah, she just met that jerk Brandon."
"Ann, are you ok..."
Ann interrupted Cassie with a gentle smile.
"I am not Ann as I was three years ago."
She was no longer the Ann who loved Brandon so much she lost herself.
Ann doesn't love Brandon anymore.
