Chapter 8 Meet again in City B

International Airport in City A.

Jimmy took the suitcase out of the trunk of the car. Ann reached out and took it.

"Jimmy, you can go home. You don't have to take me to the airport."

"No, I've got time. Come on, I'll walk you in."

Ann couldn't refuse. Jimmy strode to the airport security gate with her suitcase.

Before the security gate, Jimmy raised his hand and rubbed Ann's head, "Take care of yourself after you go to City B, and call me if you need anything."

"I know, and so do you. Take care of your health."

Ann pulled the suitcase to go through security check. Suddenly, she turned to Jimmy and said, "Brother, can you do me a favor?"

"What is it? Just say it."

Ann lowered her eyes slightly and her long eyelashes shook her eyelids. "Please help me find a room in the city center. I want to live alone when I come back."

"Isn't it good to live at home? Must you go out?"

Security staff urged her to go in and Ann bit her lip, "I'll talk to you about this later. I'll board the plane first. Be careful on your way back."

The plane took off from City A, flew high for nearly four hours, and landed slowly in City B.

Pulling a suitcase out of the airport, he was immediately met by a man who looked to be in his early twenties.

"Hello, Ms. Wilson, I'm Harry, the department manager of G Hotel. I'm the person to pick you up today and take you to the hotel.

Ann looked at Harry carefully.

After a moment, she smiled and said, "Hello, I'm Ann. Please advise me more in the future."

"If you need my help in your work, I will do my best to help you. Now let's go back to the hotel."

Ann nodded. On the way to the hotel, Harry gave her a brief introduction to the hotel.

At G Hotel, Harry went in with Ann.

"Do you want to go to your room first, or do you want to learn about the working environment?"

"I want to familiarize myself with the work environment first. I want to start tomorrow."

"That's good. I'll have someone carry your luggage to your room now."

Harry stood at the front desk and looked around. "Lena," he shouted, "Come here."

Lena came over.

"This is Ms. Wilson, the new lobby manager I told you about yesterday. You take her to get dressed and then show her around the hotel and how it works."

Lena nodded and smiled at Ann, "Ms. Wilson, I will take you to your room to change."

Ann changed into the hotel uniform and followed Lena to get familiar with the hotel environment.

"The main departments of the hotel are front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, personnel, security, etc."

"And your duties are especially important. You need to deal with the major issues, record the notes of every VlP guest, to deal with the guest complaints and verify any error-free rooms in a timely manner, and ensure that all functions of the hotel are functioning properly, both internally and externally."

Ann listened carefully. Although she studied hotel management abroad before, she has not had a formal job.

After familiarizing herself with all departments of the hotel, Ann stood in front of the hotel lobby and was about to take a rest when Lena answered a phone call and her face became serious.

"Lena, is something wrong?"

"Yes, there was a problem with the electricity room at the branch not far away on the north side. The power went out in almost all the rooms. Many of the guests of the presidential suite will now transfer to our hotel. One of the guests of honor will be received with the best service."

Ann thought for a moment. "I'll go with you to get ready. Please go to the housekeeping department to check how many rooms are available and arrange them as soon as possible. We will wait for the guests to check in as soon as they arrive."

"Okay, I see."

Everyone at G Hotel began to get busy.

Half an hour later, Ann headed the people waiting for the guests at the gate of the hotel.

A discreet black van pulled up to the hotel.

Ann cleaned herself up and walked over with a professional smile on her face.

The door was opened and a pair of expensive leather shoes came into Ann's sight.

"Hello Sir, welcome to G Hotel. We will do our best to provide you with the most comfortable environment and the best quality service. I hope you enjoy your stay."

Ann's voice fell and there was silence. The people in the car didn't move or get out.

She looked into the car doubtfully, her smile momentarily frozen.

Brandon! It's him again!

Brandon sat in the car and stared at Ann for a few seconds. Then he got out of the car with a blank face.

"What are you still doing? Is this the attitude of G Hotel? Making guests waiting outside?"

Before Ann could react, Lena hurried up, "Mr. Evans, I'm sorry. I'll show you to your room right now, please."

Brandon didn't even look at Lena, staring straight at Ann with her lips clenched.

"I want the lobby manager to show me up."

Lena looked from Ann to Brandon and became anxious.

"Mr. Evans, our manager doesn't start until tomorrow, and she's not familiar with the hotel yet..."

"Wearing this uniform represents G Hotel. If you don't have that level of expertise, I wonder if G Hotel's reputation in the industry is a sham. Your chain was unable to supply electricity due to a human failure, and now..."

"I'm sorry. That was my mistake. I'm sorry. I'll show you to your room right now. This way, please."

But in a moment, Ann had recovered her distant polite smile.

Brandon hissed and strode into the room with long legs

Ann followed her with her luggage.

Ann got her key card at the hotel reception. Brandon and Ann got on the elevator.

The elevator was quiet enough to hear both men breathing.

Ann clenched her hands without trace. Being in a space with Brandon, she felt like she was starting to suffocate.

The elevator doors opened.

Ann led Brandon to a room and opened the door with a room card brush.

"This is your room. If you have any complaints, feel free to let us know. We'll do our best to give you every satisfaction. Enjoy your stay."

Ann turned to leave. As she passed Brandon, her wrists were clenched and pulled by his hand. Dizzy, she was pressed against the cold door.

Brandon fixed his dark eyes on her and said coldly, "Ann, do you remember? I told you not to come in my face again, or I would never let you go!"

Ann met his eyes calmly, "You think too much, this is just an accident. We are just hotel guests and hotel staff."

Brandon let go of her with a sneer.

"Ann, remember what you said just now."
