Ann came out of the H Hotel.

When she stepped out of sight, her body gave way and she almost fell down. Fortunately, she was quick to hold the lion statue at the door of the hotel.

Her face was white, her chest heaved violently with a hand, and the past was playing back in her mind, her eyes angry and sad.

The sound of a mobile phone ringing from her bag woke her.

It was Jimmy on the phone.

"An elder brother."

"Ann, where are you? I couldn't find you anywhere."

Ann took a deep breath to make sure Jimmy didn't hear anything wrong.

"I was so bored in there that I came out for a walk in front of the hotel. Don't worry. I wasn't feeling well, so I went home myself now."

Jimmy frowned. He had heard more or less of what had happened at the party.

"You wait at the door of the hotel and we'll go back together."

"Be a good girl and wait for me at the door! I'll be out in a minute!"

Jimmy didn't give Ann a chance to say no and hung up.
