Leaving Brandon's room, his words repeated over and over in her head.
Ann sat up irritably and told herself over and over in her mind.
It's okay. Just treat Brandon like a regular hotel guest.
Ann tossed and turned. At midnight, she was still awake.
She took the bottle from her bedside bag, poured out two white pills, and ate them with her head back.
Just before one o 'clock in the morning, she managed to drift off to sleep. The telephone suddenly woke her up.
Ann picked up the mobile phone with a splitting headache and a hint of anger.
"Hello!Who is that? !"
"Manager Wilson, I'm sorry to disturb your rest at this late hour. But would you mind coming up to the Presidential Suite, room 103? Mr. Evans says he wants to see you now."
For poor sleepers, the feeling of being woken up is unspeakably bad.
"Tell him it's not my working time. If he wants me, ask him to look for me tomorrow!" Ann said in a bad voice.
"We made a mistake at the hotel. Mr. Evans has said that if we don't get it right, he'll complain to the authorities about us, please..."
Lena's words were difficult, and Ann twisted her brows. For a moment, she gave in. "Ok, I'll change my clothes and go now."
After about fifteen minutes, Ann came to Brandon's room.
As soon as she saw Brandon's legs crossed. He sits on the sofa with a straight face, before a nervous Lena and two other employees.
Ann took a deep breath and walked over with a professional smile.
"Mr. Evans, what do you dislike about this hotel? To keep you up all night?"
Brandon lifted his eyes and gave her a cold look. He could not fail to hear her meaning.
She said he was looking for trouble, right?
Brandon put down his papers and looked across the room.
"There was a 15cm long black hair on the bed, dust on the edge of the bath with a paper towel, blurred glass in the French window and a thick layer of dust on the potted plants in the room."
Brandon's lips curved mockingly. "Is this the presidential suite at the five-star G Hotel? It might as well be any hotel."
"Absolutely not, we G Hotel..."
Lena pulled Ann's clothes from behind and whispered in her ear, "Manager Wilson, the guest of this room just checked out this morning, and the housekeeping department hasn't cleaned it yet. And then all of a sudden, a lot of people came to check in, and there was a mistake, so..."
Ann frowned and swore to herself.
"I'm really sorry, Mr. Evans. Our hotel's mistake has caused you to have an unhappy mood. We will deal with it for you immediately and replace you with another comfortable presidential suite. Is that ok with you?"
Brandon didn't buy it. He scoffed. "Is that the attitude of your hotel?"
Ann thought for a moment, "Everything you spend in our hotel will be free, which is our compensation to you."
"Do you think I need that kind of money?”
Ann thought in mind. What do you want to do? ! Leave if you don't want to live here!
Imagination is imagination, in reality, Ann still had to smile to him.
"Mr. Lu, what do you want to do about it?"
Brandon glanced down at his wrist watch. "It'll take me about an hour and a half to go through these files. I need to take a break at three. During that time, you will keep your room spotless."
Ann immediately breathed a sigh of relief, "That's ok, I'll send the housekeeping people up right away..."
But the joy only lasted for three seconds.
"Wait, did I say housekeeping cleaned it up?"
Ann's smile froze on her face. "So you mean..."
"I don't like crowds to bother me. You clean up all by yourself. I'm sure as a lobby manager, you can handle that?"
Ann said nothing. Lena could not help saying in a low voice, "Our manager just came from A city this afternoon, and hasn't had A rest since the plane landed. It's such a big room, usually it takes two people to clean it..."
"That's not on my radar. It was your hotel that made the mistake in the first place and should be held responsible for your mistake."
Brandon said, and the room was silent.
He was not in a hurry. Looking down, he slowly scanned the papers in his hand and said carelessly, "If you don't want to, I don't have to. Even if I don't complain to the authorities, I might one day be tempted to write a chapter about my hotel experience in a magazine forum. I'm sure a lot of people will be interested, Manager Wilson, right?"
Ann heard Brandon's hidden threat.
Just when Lena wanted to stand up and say that she should clean up by herself, Ann reached out and stopped her.
She took a step forward.
"Well, I'll do it to your satisfaction."
Brandon nodded, seemingly satisfied that Ann was bowing to him.
"In that case, let's start cleaning up."
Ann pulls Lena and them out of the room. Ann smiled and shook her head, "It doesn't matter. You don't have to worry. Just go and bring me the cleaning tools."
Ann takes the cleaning tools and re-enters the room.
"I'll clean the room first. I'll try not to disturb you with my work."
Brandon said, "okay." After Ann entered the room, he put down his papers and looked at her busy figure in the room with complicated eyes.
Ann cleaned the window on the nightstand with a cloth, cleaned the bathroom inside and out. And she vacuumed the carpet in the room.
After all this, Ann was so tired that she couldn't stand up straight.
Brandon looked out of the room and carefully read the papers. She swore a few words in her mind and carried her things out.
"Mr. Evans, I've already cleaned the room. You can go inside first, so I won't disturb your work."
She just didn't want to be in Brandon's space at all.
Brandon put down his papers and read Ann's mind at a glance. He pursed his thin lips, his angular face weary.
"No, I've taken care of it. I'll go in and take a shower, and you can go out when you finish."
Ann wished that, nodding heavily, "Yes, I will go out as soon as possible, and I won't disturb your rest."
Brandon went into his room to take a shower. Ann took the cloth and began to clean the table and sofa.
Suddenly sleepy feeling hit her mind, and her eyes couldn’t help close heavily.
Ann knew that the sleeping pills she had taken had taken effect.
She gritted her teeth, hoping to endure. But unexpectedly she still cannot support, lay prone on the sofa to sleep in the past.
Brandon came out of the shower and took a special look outside. He saw her lying motionless on the sofa, frowned, and walked over.
