XAVIER’S POV

I woke up at midnight to go empty my bladder.

I walked sluggishly to the bathroom and when I was done, I stepped out.

I decided to go check on Eva but when I got to her bed , she wasn’t there.

I quickly rushed to the pool side to check if she was there, but she wasn’t.

My hands started trembling once again and my heart beat increased.

I rushed to the room and grabbed my phone and with a shaky hand, I dialed her number.

Her phone started ringing and that was when I realized that her phone was on her bed.

Fear seized me immediately...
