THE NEXT MORNING

Yawning and stretching lazily, Alexa slowly opened her eyes. Looking around the small cave, Xavier was no where to be found. She stood up, still rubbing her eyes with her finger to clear off the sleep in her eyes, heading outside.

Stepping out, she saw Xavier not so far from the cave and the river which surrounded it. He was gathering logs together. Walking over to him, Alexa hugged him from the back, her arm wrapped around his armpit.

Xavier flinched a bit at first but relaxed when Alexa placed a kiss at the back of his shoulder. He was putting on a singlet only.
