Cassie's mom pov's

I was in the kitchen preparing dinner for the family before it gets dark. I was still cooking when I heard a knock on my door making me stop what I was doing.

I walked to the door and opened it to see a strange man dressed in black standing at the door. He wore a black hat which covered his face and I couldn't see him. He had a black coat and jacket on, with black pants and shoes.

He raised his face up and fear gripped me, immediately my eyes landed on the scar between his eyes. The word ugly...
