Chapter 5: New powers.

Dillion's pov's

Different people from near and far were present in the hall, The ita festival is something the people of Pluto are always an eagerness to celebrate. Because it has been said by our fathers that it would attend the ita festival with a pure heart, such a person would be blessed greatly by the gods.

I look at everybody all dressed in different costumes with a smile on their faces, everybody wanted to be a part of those demonstrating or entertaining the king.

I began to have this weird feeling in my body, it was like I was experiencing a new change or something different was occurring, I began to feel nauseous, my vision became blurry, I felt my body heated as a wave of new air touched my skin.

"Father," I called wearily before I blackout.

I woke up due to the noises I heard, I looked around me to see myself in an unknown environment, I turn my head sideways studying the place when I noticed that I was in dad's Chambers.

"Ahh" I voiced out as I tried to get up from the bed but found It difficult, what is happening with me, why can't I get up from here? I asked myself, feeling so weak on the bed.

I heard voices like there was an argument between two people and it seems to be a heated argument.

What is happening to my son's priest? The voice sounded just like my dad asked... I can feel him draining, it just like he is becoming mortal, Dad added making my mouth hung open.

What does he mean by am becoming mortal, all these things happening are making my head hurts. How did I get here? Where are they discussing about me? Who is becoming mortal?.

The throbbing headache increase as I felt my head being pounded by something heavy, I turn sideways on the bed as the pain increase, making me blackout.

Mialon pov's

I had walked the path leading to my dad's room for the seventh time to know what is going on with Dillion.

It not like I care but I just wanted to know if he is in danger, after all, he has always been a threat to the throne that belongs to me.

"I don't know your majesty, he doesn't seem to be getting better but I can experience changed coming out from him, keys give him a few days to wake up the" the priest said.

Whoa, sorry to say this brother but I feel really happy knowing that you might not just come out of this alive, I smirk at my thought.

Dillion's pov's

I woke up feeling agile, I could feel so much energy running through my veins. I breathe out in relief that I didn't pass out like the first time I woke up.

I got down from the bed and out on my princely attired before walking out of the room. I opened the door and two guards were already at the door.

Immediately, they turned their head to stare at me in shock, before bowing their heads.

"My Prince, are you okay?" They asked looking at me strangely and I smiled nodding my head.

"Your father instructed us to watch over you till he returns with the priest," one of the guards replied to me.

"Am fine, and I would like to go to my room if you don't mind excusing me," I said with my eyes red while they shiver, giving way for me to pass.

I walked out of the king's chamber slowly as everything about me seems so different, I was walking when I crossed paths with my father and the priest.

Dillion, what are you doing here? He asked while I bowed my head. Am fine father and I don't feel sick anymore, I replied to him.

"My king," the priest said bowing his head while I stared at him strangely but he kept a smile on his face.

Immediately I felt a little wave passed through my body as I began to read the emotions of the priest.

"You feel happy, you feel fulfill about something happening right now," I said unconsciously which took me by surprise.

What is happening to me? I asked myself inaudibly staring in a different direction as I thought of what just happened.

How did I do that I thought within myself staring at them weirdly while the chief priest smiled?

You are the chosen one, only you can, he said and smile at patting my back while I looked at him weirdly.

You know what is going on with me, why don't you speak? I said with boldness as my father watched me immensely wondering what am talking about.

"Let's go somewhere private," he said to us.

"So in essence you are saying I got some special abilities from the god because I attended the ita festival with a pure heart?" I asked staring at him surprisingly as I tried to comprehend what he just said.

Yes, your majesty, you aren't only giving special abilities, you were also chosen by the god for a greater purpose which you would accomplish at the right time.

"In as much as I want to listen to you but right now I need to think because all these things sound crazy to me," and within a twinkle of an eye, I saw myself become two, no three, four, five...

"Ahhhh" what is happening to me I screamed staring at the other duplicate of me.

What is going on with my son? my dad asked in fright while the priest stares at me and the other me, in admiration.

"Long live the god of Pluto," he said staring at the ceiling while I still look around scared of what's is happening to me.

"You have great powers, my prince, sorry our king," he said smiling at me.

What are you talking about and how do I undo this? I asked him.

You have the power to empathy and the power to replicate he said and my father looked at me so proud.

You mean he has these powers which are given to special kings and people by the god? he asked and the priest nodded his head.

"Hail the new king of Pluto who has been chosen by the god," he said proudly.....
