Chapter 6: The king worries.

Mialon pov's

I was in the training room practicing with joy, I kept on practicing when I heard the discussions of the maids who were passing by the training room because I left the door open.

"We don't know the health status of the prince after the incident that happened in the ita festival" one of the maids whispered to the others.

"Exactly my point, I think the king is hiding something from us, I mean the prince could be dead or has an incurable disease," another said looking around.

"You know the walls have ears, and we shouldn't be talking about the royal family this way, moreover prince Dillion is fine and gas recovered fully another," the maid said to them walking away.

Is Dillion really fine? I thought and paused my training thinking about it. I need to find out immediately and see things for myself I concluded in my thoughts.

I quickly rushed out of the training room and went to my room to have my shower...

King cipher pov's

I was now in my chambers after I had sent Dillion to his room to rest and think because everything seems to be happening so fast, and I know he needs a lot of time to process them.

I am happy and sad at the same time, it gives me joy that my days of thinking about who would rule the kingdom of Pluto are over but the problem now is Mialon.

I know how much he hungers to rule this kingdom after my departure but now the gods have made their choice. They have chosen who pleases them and the person who would serve them well.

How then do I explain all this to him, how do I tell him that his birthright to be taken away from him because his brother was chosen by the gods and not him?.

In as much, as I respect the decision of the gods but I also feel for my son Mialon because I don't know how to explain what's going on with him.

Your majesty, Adan is here to see you one of the guards said, and I gave out a light smile asking him to let him in...

"Long live the great king of Pluto," Adan said Bowing his head, while I wave my hands at him giving him a sky smile.

"Adan, my trusted servant to what do I owe this surprise visit," I asked him staring at him.

"Your majesty, am sorry for not visiting you but I am here to ask about prince Dillion's health," he said rushing his words.

"Dillion is fine Adan, I know the people are worried and so many negative things must have been said concerning what happened in the ita festival," I replied to him.

Oh, that good to know your majesty, please do extend my greetings to him, he said Bowing his head while I gave him a sly smile in deep thought.

You look bother your majesty, is anything the matter? he asked staring at me with so much concern in his eyes.

"It about Dillion," I said to him sighing heavily as I rubbed my head with my palms shortly.

"Spread the news to all the members of the council informing them of an urgent meeting which would be held tomorrow," I said and dismiss him afterward.

I just hope everything goes well tomorrow because I have no idea on how to break the news to Mialon.....

Dillion's pov's

I walked around the vineyard of the palace with my hands crossed behind my back as I thought of what happened earlier on.

*"Hail the new king of Pluto who has been chosen by the gods," he said proudly*

This word kept repeating itself in my head, the chosen one* Hail the king of Pluto*.

It kept flooding my head as I paced around the vineyard, am I really chosen by the gods? What am I supposed to accomplish with these special abilities that have been given to me? I asked myself as I ruffled my hair.

I felt the same wave I felt not long ago and this time the emotions I felt were that of anger, jealousy, and fury. I wonder whose emotions are these, so I turned around only to see Mialon coming my way making me stumbled backward.

He is the one with such emotions, but why?, I thought.., but why is he coming my way I asked myself again staring at him in confusion.

"So the prince charming finally decides to wake up from his slumber? he said with a heavy smirk placed on his face, I turn to stare at him without giving him any reply.

"Oh now he ignores me, so interesting" he squealed like a little Child and placed his hands on my shoulders.

I need no one to tell me who Mialon had been, I know he is doing all these to pissed me off but I won't allow that to happen

"Come on brother, I know you are fine but I needed to come to see for myself that my only brother is doing fine," he said with a hint of mockery in his voice but I was able to calm my nerves down.

"You know Mialon, why don't you get out of here and let me think about something more important, instead of listening to your annoying voice," I said staring at him with no expression as I walked away...

"Freak," he said making me halt on my tracks as I stood still trying to quench the anger I felt when a guard call out our name.

"Your highness, his Majesty wishes to see you now," he said and he bowed his head walking away.

I looked at Mialon who had looked worried as he wondered why the king ordered for our presence, I know it had to do with me and the new abilities I have been blessed with.

But I have a feeling that things are going to end bad and I wonder why.....
