Chapter 1: The King's thoughts.

In the kingdom of Pluto where love and peace have reigned for many years since the era of king Cipher the great king who was able to bring the there clans together and made it possible for them to unite.

He was the most feared ruler of their time and was also the most respectable for his wise decision.

King Cipher had three wives all coming from the three clans.

The only problem was that these two sons were giving birth on the said day but at different times.

"My king," his most trusted servant said as he bowed to king Cipher who was sitting gloriously on his throne.

"Adan, my most trusted servant" the king acknowledge and nodded to his greetings.

"It an honor being in your presence, your Majesty" Adan said sincerely.

"What can I do for you,?" the king asked him in a deep voice waving his hands.

"Am here to congratulate his Majesty on the arrival of our princes" he said and bowed his head.

"Oh that's wonderful Adan" the king smiled at him.

"And am very sure they will rule greatly just like their father who happens to be a man of just and a highly respected ruler" he praised his Majesty who happens to be pleased with his words.

"Of course" the king exclaimed happily.

"But your Majesty can I say something," Adan said in a shaky voice making the king wonder what's he is about to say and why is it that he seems scared to voice out.

"Speak Adan," the king said in a hard tone.

"Your Majesty" he shuttered at first before lifting his head to stare at his Majesty.

"Well, you know the two princes were all giving birth to on the said day" he paused and watch his Majesty to know if he was following him or not.

After studying the king's expression for a little while he conceived that the king was actually following.

"I wanted to know who you will crown as your heir" he finally said but it came out lowly.

"Hmm" his Majesty clears his throat and began to think of what Adan had just said.

His wives are very dear to him and he had tried to be a just king by loving them all equally.

This has made the women lived in peace and unity but now having his two sons at once is another big bridge to cross.

"Why didn't I think of this?" he asked himself looking disturbed.

"Your Majesty I will take my leave, let me give you time to think about it," Adan said and walked away.

He looked at Adan once more before returning back to his thought.

"Adan is really right, this is something I need to tackle now before my sons are all grown up," he thought

** 19 years later**

Writer's pov's

"Hey brother" she called running to catch up with him.

"Seriously Dillion can you please wait up" she yelled in frustration.

Dillion paused without turning his back to stare at her while she hurriedly runs to his front.

"Can you say what you have to say, I have somewhere to be now" he said to her in his sweet voice but unfortunately maltida was still trying to catch her breath from the little run.

"Well, I wanted to know if you can get me the new training boot from the store," she said blinking her eyes and pouting her lips at him.

Instead of giving her a reply, he spares her a glance before walking away from her.

"Why is Dillion always this way," she thought but she couldn't do anything so she let him go.

Mialon pov's

I stare at the great city of Pluto and I must confess my dad did a very good job.

I looked at the people in joy as they move about their businesses with smiling faces, each.

I want to become the king of Pluto. I would be king I declared in my heart.

There's was a knock on the door jolting me out of my thoughts.

"Come in," I said in a calm tone walking back to my room with my arms crossed at my back.

The door pushed open and my mom the lovely queen of Pluto walked into my room elegantly.

"Son," she said and walked close to me.

"Mother" I replied smiling.

"How was your journey?" I asked her though am carving to hug her desperately.

"You should know the treat was a good one, all thanks to your father" she added smiling.

"Come here my boy," she said and stretched her arms for me.

I stare at shock at first but quickly I went into her arms and hugged her as my life depended on it.

"I missed you mom," I said sincerely as I placed my head on her shoulder.

"I missed you so much, my son". She replied also in tears.

"Alright will see you later," she said and left while I smiled.

"It good to have her home," I thought.

King's cipher pov's

I was in my Chambers resting my head after dealing with a lot of matters from the kingdom.

I thought of how time flies and how old and weak I have become these past few years.

"It time you pick your successor" my inner voice spoke out to me.

This happens to be the difficult task and moment of my life.

I know they were birthed the same day but by different mothers, am still aware of Mialon being the first child to come out that faithful night before Dillion was born.

Technically it is supposed to be Mialon who becomes the king but a greater part of me wants to make Dillion my successor after I pass away.

But the problem now is how Mialon will take the news of his younger brother becoming king instead of him.

This is critical and I need to think about this matter deeply before making any decisions if I want my family still living in peace after my departure.

The king is in so much thought!!!
