Chapter 4: ita's festival

Mialon pov's

I walked down the hallway heading to the garden to receive the cool breeze only to find everywhere busy with maids moving through and fro and decorations going on in the palace.

"What could be the occasion that everybody seems to be busy with" I stare around confused.

It non of a royal family's birthday because if it happens to be I would be aware of it but this decoration seems different and everybody is taking their work seriously.

I saw mother instructing a maid who bowed countless times before mother left her presence to check on the other duties carried out by other maids.

"Mother" I called and she turned her head immediately until my eyes landed on me making her smile s bit.

"My prince," she said and held up my palm lovingly.

"Good morning mother," I said to her and she caressed my cheeks like a child still waiting for a smile on her face.

"Morning my son, hope you slept well and woke up energetic?" she asked and I nodded my head positively also kissing her palms.

"What going on here mother," I asked looking everywhere.

"What all these decorations and preparations about, is there something am supposed to know about," I asked her and she smiled.

"Don't you know today is supposed to be the ita festival where the king your father is celebrated for bringing the three clans together" she explained and I listened to her attentively.

"So we all are preparing for this festival, what are we going to be doing as this festival is been celebrated today," I asked her and she smiled at me rubbing my cheeks softly.

"Well, today" she started as we walked down the hallway while the workers bowed when they noticed our presence.

"There are going to be slot of entertainment for his Majesty and the royal household, and they vary from dancing to magic performance, sword fighting and other special entertainment would all be displayed to his Majesty today" she concluded smiling widely.

You know we all are supposed to fast till when his Majesty eats first before we can it one of the special needs of the ita festival.

"The whole citizens of Agrabah are all letting until the opening of the ita festival where his Majesty takes the first bite of food before others can she said and I stare at her in shock".

"You mean to say you are also fasting," I asked her and she nodded her head positively Making me gulped down my spit.

"Am I the only one not aware of this, I went to the kitchen and ate an apple before walking down here I never knew anything like this was happening I thought it was supposed to be next winter period".

"Is there any penalty for a person who declines too fast?" I asked calmly not wanting to raise any suspicion.

"Well, people of the past say they die a mysterious death but only the gods can tell" she replied and went in to instruct a maid.

"Did I just hear death I stood still almost falling to the floor as what she said weaken my entire body, I can't die now?" I said and walked away still in deep thought?

I went back to my Chambers to find out that my bath was already prepared by the maids. So I quickly got into the shower room and wash up my body thoroughly with the rose petals which made my body had such a wonderful fragrance.

I got out and dressed up in my princely rope which made me look really handsome and very charming.

Well, I guess we are getting ready for the ita's festival.

Dillion's pov's

I was meditating in my room after I had my bath today, I didn't go for my usual run around the city of Aggraba today because of the ita festival which is being celebrated concerning my father the King.

I wanted to do something special for him or displaying one of my talents, but am barely catching up in our training, so I kicked against it.

"Hey, brother it time" Melissa's voice interrupted me making me open my eyes widely.

"Come on let's go to the city hall the festival is about to start," she said sounding really happy.

"What about the others," I asked her getting up from my mat I used to meditate before I folding it and keeping it properly.

"Hey, isn't that the mat I made for you last year?" Melissa asked staring at the mat vividly.

"Oh my gosh, that the mat" she examined pointing at it while I rolled my eyes at her.

"But I thought you said you didn't like the design" she feigned annoyance folding her hands.

"Well I change my mind," I said pushing her out of my room before shutting the door on her face.

"Am still waiting here" she said while I groaned inwardly.

I quickly dressed up in my princely outfit and gel my hair making me looked cool.

I opened my door to find her still at the door tapping her feet lightly on the floor.

"Wow you look, good brother," she said but I ignored her.

A few minutes later we arrived at the ita festival to see Dad and Mom in the high seat for the royalty, so we quickly went in that direction when we bumped into Mialon.

"Hey watch it freak," he said and I look at him in dad's eyes while he stares at me with anger.

"Don't call me freak" I said calmly but with anger in my voice.

Unexpectedly he formed a pink ball of lightning in his hands ready to attack me and I formed mine too ready to attack him.

"Hey, you two stop it" Melissa stood in between the both of us bringing us back to our Senses.

Immediately the pink ball of light disappeared from my hands and he's too making both of us turn to look at Melissa.

"Are you okay?" I asked her and she nodded her head.

"Let's go," Mialon said and we all walked to the direction where royalty stayed and sat close to our parents before the whole festival began in full.

Whoa!!! They both almost fought
