Chapter 3: Cassie.

King cipher's pov's

"Your Majesty the council is here to see you," the voice said making me freeze.

"Oh no," I feared for this day. I know why they are here and I have been trying to avoid them but they came to me instead.

"Your highness" I heard a voice said tapping me lightly on my shoulders as I became startled.

"Are you okay your highness?" the voice which happened to be Queen Elaine asked me and I stare at her and nod his head.

"I will see you soon, my lovely wife" I kissed her forehand before walking out of my room graciously.

I arrived at the court room and all the court members of the council all rise to greet and bowed to me in respect.

"My council members" I started smiling as he stares at each and every one of them.

"I welcome you all, to what do I owe this lovely surprise" king cipher asked.

"Your majesty I greet you, you know the reason we came here, is to know about your decision concerning your heir to the throne," one of the council members said.

"Well, the gentleman I would like to inform you that concerning the heir am still yet to make a decision" I replied them smiling but I could tell from their expression they weren't happy with what I said.

"You know how important it is your majesty and you know your people are curiously waiting for who will be the next to carry out their father's legacy," another council member said bowing his head.

"I am aware of all these factors and they are the only reason it has been difficult to choose from one of my sons" I replied them in a stern tone making them a bit frightened.

"You all what to hear the conclusion of the whole matter, well like I will say I know it's a blessing have two sons given to me by the god's but when theses two sons happened to be born on the same day it becomes even more difficult to make a choice," I said and I could see them murmuring.

"Let me throw a question, my council members,s, if I asked you all to vote between prince Mialon and prince Dillion who will you pick," I ask them furrowing my eyebrows at them, and the when place became quiet.

None of them could say a word but they all became silent and this made me chuckle.

My council members are all having a difficult time picking a king for themselves and they decided to put all the burden on me.

Though Dillion happens to be my favorite but people would say he's not the first child when they get to find out.

"We should be talking about the ita festival that would be coming up soon, not worrying our heads about our next king," I said and they all smiled nodding their head in agreement.

"So what are the arrangements," I asked with a deep voice and they all bowed their head.

"We have made ready some special magicians who will be coming from the Eastside to perform, your majesty," the man who seems to be in charge of the ita festival said making me smile.

"We also invited some dancer to perform that day your highness" he added bowing his head while I smile at her.

Good make sure the town hall is ready and there should be enough for Everyone present'

Alright your majesty he said and bowed his head while vi waved at him.

"I guess that should be all, for now, you all shouldn't forget to keep me updated if anything comes up," I said to them before walking out of the courtroom while they all rise up from their seat and bowed their head in respect.

*In Earth*

*Cassie's pov's

"Would you come downstairs or you prefer I rather come there and get you down" mom yelled making me rolled my eyes.

"Cassie" mom yelled and I groaned using the pillows to cover my ears.

"Am coming up" she said and I tiptoed to my door and use my keys to lock it so that she can't come in.

"Phew" I breathed out in relief and went back to the bed used the duvet to cover myself before closing my eyes once more.

I could hear footsteps coming closer to my room but I just closed my eyes and waited for the drama to unveiled.

She came and tried opening the door but it didn't open making me chuckle, but I was quick enough to use the pillow to cover my mouth so she won't hear me.

"Cassie open this door right this moment" she yelled banging the door but I Ignored her and use the pillow to cover my ear preventing me from hearing her.

Suddenly the sound stopped and I remove the pillow from my ear and placed my head on it smiling.

"Well done Cassie," I said to myself proudly.

** a Few minutes later**

I felt something liquid touched my face and it made me uncomfortably.

I rolled to the next side of the bed and it stopped for a while making me smile. But suddenly I felt it again on my face but this time some part of that liquid got into my ear making me stand up abruptly.

"Ahh," I said and used my hands to take them off my ears, but I felt a presence beside me and I turned around to see my mom in my room with a bowl of water on her hands.

"Ahhhhhhhh" I screamed out and jumped out of my bed using my duvet to cover my ears but I could hear her burst into a burst of loud laughter.

"What's so funny, I thought, but then I remembered I locked my door how the hell did she get into my room," I asked myself.

"How do you get into my room mom," I asked folding my hands and instead of replying to my question, she burst into another laughter making me pissed.

"Mom" I yelled stomping my foot in anger.

"Okay fine this," she said and showed me the keys in her hands.

"But I used that to lock my door" I stammered pointing at my wardrobe and the door simultaneously. But before I could confront her she's out of my room already.

"Get ready for school Cassie" she yelled from downstairs making me groaned.
