Chapter 2 My Life As His Mate

Chapter 2 My Life As His Mate

Reincarnated Mate 2.

My Life as his mate.

As Liam's mate and the Alpha Luna of his pack, I was treated like royalty wherever I went. It was a strange feeling, being so revered and respected, especially since I was just a human. But the pack saw me as an integral part of their family, and they would do anything to protect me.

One of the places where I felt this the most was in the park. Liam and I would often go there for walks, and every time we did, we were greeted with warmth and affection.

People would stop us on the path, asking for pictures and autographs. They would tell me how much they admired me, how I was an inspiration to them. It was overwhelming at times, but also incredibly humbling.

I remember one day, we were walking through the park, and a little girl ran up to me, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Are you the Alpha Luna?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

I smiled at her and nodded.

"I am," I said. "What's your name?"

"My name is Emily," she said, beaming up at me. "I've heard so much about you. You're so brave and strong."

I felt my heart swell with pride as I looked down at her. To be able to inspire someone like that, to be a role model, was an incredible feeling.

As we continued our walk, more and more people stopped us. They would bow their heads in respect or offer gifts as a token of their appreciation.

It was all so surreal, but it made me feel like I was a part of something special. I was a part of Liam's pack, and they had accepted me as one of their own.

But as much as I loved the attention and the admiration, there were times when it became overwhelming. The constant scrutiny, the pressure to be perfect, it could be suffocating.

One day, we were walking through the park, and a group of paparazzi started following us. They shouted questions and snapped pictures, and I could feel my anxiety rising.

Liam must have sensed my discomfort, because he pulled me close to him, shielding me from the cameras.

"Come on," he said, his voice low and urgent. "Let's get out of here."

We hurried through the park, our steps quickening as we tried to escape the paparazzi's gaze. It was a relief when we finally made it to the car, and we drove away, leaving the chaos behind.

As we drove, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I loved being Liam's mate, and I loved being a part of his pack. But sometimes, I needed a break from the attention, from the constant scrutiny.

But no matter how overwhelming it could be, I knew one thing for sure: I was grateful for every moment of it. I was grateful for Liam, for his pack, and for the love and acceptance they had given me.

As the car drove us away from the park, I couldn't help but reflect on how much my life had changed since meeting Liam.

Growing up without any family had left me feeling isolated and alone. The bullying I faced in school only added to that feeling. But now, as Liam's mate, I was a part of something much bigger than myself.

Liam had shown me a world that I had never known existed. He had introduced me to the pack and taught me about their traditions and customs. And as I had come to learn more about them, I had found a sense of belonging that I had never felt before.

I was amazed at how well the pack had accepted me, despite being human. They saw me as an equal, and they respected me as a member of their community. It was a feeling of acceptance that I had never known before, and I was grateful for it every day.

As we pulled into the driveway of our home, I noticed that Liam seemed a bit tense. I wondered if something was bothering him.

"What's wrong?" I asked as we got out of the car.

He hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I've received some troubling news," he said. "One of our neighboring packs is having some trouble. There have been reports of rogue wolves in their territory, and they're struggling to deal with it."

I felt a pang of worry in my chest. I knew that the packs often worked together to deal with threats, but rogue wolves were dangerous, unpredictable. And if they weren't dealt with, they could cause a lot of damage.

"What can we do to help?" I asked, my mind already racing with ideas.

Liam smiled at me, his eyes sparkling with pride. "That's my mate," he said. "Always ready to lend a hand."

He explained that he was planning to reach out to the other Alpha and offer our help. We could send some of our best warriors to assist them in dealing with the rogue wolves.

I could see the determination in his eyes, and I knew that he would stop at nothing to protect his pack and those around them. It was one of the things I loved most about him.

As we entered the house, I couldn't help but feel a sense of purpose. It was a feeling that I had been missing for so long, and I was grateful to Liam and his pack for giving it back to me.

I knew that the road ahead wouldn't be easy. There would be challenges and obstacles to overcome. But as long as I had Liam by my side, and as long as we had the support of the pack, I knew that we could overcome anything.

Together, we would face the future, whatever it may hold.
