Eyes rolled, gazes lingered, murmurs spread around in hushed tones while I waltzed into my second favorite building. Second, yes, because my first favorite was the one I shared with Lola.

I ignored their irritating stares and headed straight to my office. My presence wasn't necessary, but reminding them that I couldn't be deterred so easily by being here made a difference.
