Chapter 1 Alphas

Chapter 1 Alphas

Alpha Skyler!" A troop said urgently as they entered Skyler's office without his consent.

"This better be urgent or it's your head for your intrusion." Skyler said through gritted teeth.

"The troops have had sightings of pack warriors from Alpha Miller's pack," the terrified troop said, shaking in his wake.

"Then get rid of them, why are you here wasting my time?" Skyler asked through gritted teeth.

As of currently, Skyler was busy doing paperwork. He had grown his pack immensely that many werewolves had been flooding by the boarders begging to join his pack. But he sent them all away only taking rogues, he knew they were wild and unpredictable but they made it up by their unbelievable strength.

In a way he related them, he was an outcast himself. Hated by society including his own family and cast out by his pack. He had more in common with a rogue than his own family. It truly showed what he had been suppressing all those years ago. His family was nothing more than a bunch of posers, in reality they were cruel, manipulative and deserved each other. He was beyond glad that he broke ties with them but it didn't matter how far he had gone, his heart would be tagged back to his old pack. In the end he desired what every child desired, the love and approval of their parents.

"Sir, there seems to be more than five hundred pack members out there." The troop said not once making eye contact with Skyler.

Skyler's eyebrows shot through the roof before a smirk plastered across his face. He had been waiting for this day for weeks. He had waged war on his twin weeks ago hoping to finally end this ridiculous war of theirs.

"Is he there?" Skyler asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

"No sir, just his second in command," the troop answered respectfully.

Skyler sighed disappointedly before he switched in his office chair like a pouting kid. In all honesty he wanted nothing more than to watch his twin choke on his own blood as he killed him. It was a sight that tickled his feathers joyfully. Their war has gone too far that in the end all they wanted to do was see the other dead before them.

"Then slaughter them all," Skyler commanded with a flick of his wrist.

"Yes sir," the troop said before he rushed out of the office.

"And Dylan?" Skyler said before the troop could leave the room.

"Yes alpha?" Dylan asked with his head bowed.

"Make it quick," Skyler said with a hint of excitement in his voice.

"Yes alpha," Dylan said with a wicked smile before he dashed out of the office.

If there was anything rogues loved more than freedom, it was a good fight. They were wild beasts on the battleground and in seconds the battlefield would be drenched in blood of their enemies. Everyone was so afraid of rogues they would never take them into their packs but what they don't realise is the value rogues can bring to the pack.

They aren't just wild werewolves, they were normal werewolves just like any pack member. They are intelligent , and they are crazy strong. All they seek is love and a roof over their head. Something Skyler did for them and in return they paid him with their royalty and respect, simple as that and soon enough his pack was known all throughout the country as one of the strongest packs. Something that rattled Miller's feathers and he did not like the sound of that.

Before the sun went down, every warrior who stood outside his border was torn to shreds. Anyone that tried to flee would be chased and rogues loved a good chase. Anyone who went against Skyler ended up dead in seconds yet Miller stood tall and proud in his pack and not a scratch on his face. For such a strong guy you would think he would come to Deliverance himself. Yet every time warriors came to fight Skyler, Miller was nowhere to be seen.

In the end Skyler was right. Miller was a spoiled brat who thought he had the world at his fingertips but he didn't realise it was because of mummy and daddy. Now that they've left everything in his hands he's lost with no clue of what to do. With no mate by his side, he has to shoulder all the responsibilities all by himself.

Skylar snickered at the thought of Miller doing any actual paper work. He always sucked at school and never cared for it much because he was going to be alpha so school work and homework was the furthest thing from his mind.

A knock on the door brought him back from his paperwork.

"Enter," Skyler said blankly.

As usual Dylan entered the room drenched in blood with only shorts on. In his hand he had clenched the hair of Miller's second in command, dragging him by the hair.

"Welcome Seon, it's been a while," Skyler smirked as he got up from his chair. He walked to stand towering over Dylan and Seon.

Skyler might have been lacking in the muscle area but he was the same height as his twin brother.

Seon gasped for air as every inch of his body screamed in agony. Dylan did not give him mercy as he let loose hell on his ass.

"You see like you had a bad day," Skyler fake pouted as he lowered himself to his knees to have a closer look at Seon.

"F-fu-fuck y-you," Seon stuttered out.

Claw marks could be seen on every inch of his body making Skyler smile brightly.

"Dylan," Skyler said.

"Yes Alpha," Dylan answered immediately.

"Good job," Skyler said as he stood and ruffled Dylan's hair.

Dylan's heart skipped a beat at the affection, cheeks turning bright red. Skyler knew Dylan was gay but he didn't care, Dylan was a great second in command and that's what mattered to him.

"Thank you sir," Dylan said with his heart hammering away.

"Now what should we do with this little birdie?" Skyler asked no one in particular as he looked down at Seon.

"I'm getting tired of sending you back and repeating the same thing over and over. Throw him in the dungeons and do not release him unless Miller sets foot on this land, which will never be." Skyler snickered as he went back to his seat.

"Yes sir," Dylan said with a sad pout.

"What now?" Skyler asked with an irritated tick.

"Nothing boss, I'll take him to the dungeons immediately." Dylan said before he walked out with his head hung low and a grunting Seon on the ground.

Dylan had a soft spot for Seon which he knew was a terrible idea as it would result in unimaginable pain. Both physical and emotional.

Skyler found himself in a pretty good mood as he finally changed the cat and mouse game that he had been playing with his brother for year's. Now all he had to do was wait for the mouse to fall into the trap, which wasn't going to take long.

By the late evening, Skyler had ordered an escort to distress himself.

"You called alpha," a seductive purr came from the door.

"Come in, little kitten," Skyler growled slowly at the sight before him.

A vulupscies woman with boobs hanging on to dear life by the low shirt she was wearing. Hips curved at such a perfect angle it had Skyler shifting in his seat, and not to mention her sweet buttocks as she swayed his way seductively.

"Does the big bad alpha want a message?" She purred in his ears as she pressed her fingers in his shoulders.

"Mhm," Skyler hummed constantly.

The escort pressed her boobs against his head as she gently massaged him. Even having such a delicious drop dead gorgeous woman tend to his every desire didn't ignite that fire in him.

Only a mate could bring unimaginable pleasure and he hadn't found her yet. It killed him to go day by day without having a mate by his side. Not only did he desire a mate to seem more powerful but he desired a mate to start a family. He couldn't go on forever fighting his brother for the rest of his life, one had to eventually die and Skyler wasn't going to be the one six feet under.

The sooner he can get his little brother out of the picture the better, then he could put all his focus into finding his mate. The one person meant for him, the one person who was going to truly make him happy.

Miller!" Kiera called her son.

"We have cellphones for a reason, mother," Miller said, annoyed as he walked towards his mother.

He was waiting for feedback from the troops he sent to attack his brother's pack but no news had been sent his way.

"Those things are bloody annoying Miller, we don't need them anyway." Kiera said dismissively with a wave of her hand.

"So why did you call me?" Miller asked with a raised brow.

"The mating season is coming up," Kiera jumped straight in.

"And what does that have to do with me?" Miller asked with a raised brow.

Miller was the slow sibling, it was no wonder he barely passed his classes. But for all he cared he could go for the rest of his life without having a mate. He loved the freedom he got as aloha, no one told him what to do, he could party all night, sleep with any girl he desired and live the way he wanted to.

The only downfall was the responsibility of his pack, it was such a bore for him that he handed every paperwork to his second in command Seon. He couldn't handle paperwork nor make big decisions without rushing so of course Seon had to do all that as well as most of the alpha work.
