Rebecca POV:

Eugene smiled and bowed slightly to Matthew, "Your Majesty, Tracy has made a mistake and deserves to be punished, another day in prison will not starve her to death. I have no desire for you to release her immediately, I came to see Rebecca today simply to apologise and hopefully gain her forgiveness."

He always had a warm smile on his face, even when Matthew's tone was terrible, he could smile in the face, which I kinda admired.

And, as Tracy's brother, he acted very politely, not begging for his sister's forgiveness, but instead kept saying that Tracy did deserve to be punished.
