Rebecca POV:
The man looked at me indifferently and once again repeated the question he had just asked, "What are you doing here?"
He was so long and tall that when he looked at me my whole body couldn't help but freezing, unable to move.
Linda took the opportunity to escape from my control and daintily ran to the man's side, pretending to be pitiful, "Mr. Ferrall, it's lucky you're here, otherwise I would have been strangled to death by my sister."
Looking at Linda's hypocritical appearance, I just wanted to vomit.
Linda had always treated men like this, and I really wondered why these men were deceived by her since it was obvious that she was pretending.
This royalty was just stupid to believe Linda the liar.
"It's none of your business. This is a personal vendetta. Leave immediately."
"How dare you!" Linda shouted at me, "This is Mr. Matthew Ferrall, our Majesty, Rebecca how dare you speak to His Majesty like that!"
She spoke with arrogance, as if she was the wolf king.
But this man was actually the wolf king?
I looked at him carefully: under the moonlight, his features were clear, and he was the most handsome man I had ever seen.
But what attracted me was not his superior looks, but ......
he made me feel familiar.
"So what if you're the wolf king?" I was not convinced, "Linda, you stole from me, even if God comes, you have to give it back to me and apologize to my mother!"
Before Matthew could say anything, Linda spoke up first.
"Yes, Matthew, it's all my fault. I accidentally lost Becky's pearl necklace. She is my half-sister, and it is only right to blame me, my sister ......"
She sucked her nose as she said the words. Her eyes turned red as if she really wanted to cry in aggravation.
"Your half-sister?" Matthew glanced at me contemptuously, "Hasn't she been banished? How dare a shameless rogue still appear in the Misty Forest?"
He pushed me away roughly, "Get out of here right now, or I'll make you unable to survive in the whole America."
He was so hard that I almost fell to the ground.
His wolf king aura dared me not to act rashly, but looking at Linda's smug face and thinking of the necklace my mother had left me, I could not leave.
My stay completely enraged Matthew, who stepped forward and grabbed me by the collar to pick me up.
"What are you doing! Put me down now! You crazy man!"
I struggled desperately, but Matthew had no intention of letting go of me.
He was so strong that no matter how much I struggled, he had no intention of letting go.
I could see Linda beside him looking at me sarcastically, mouthing to me that I couldn't fight her.
Damn!
Matthew carried me back to the assembly in the forest, and the werewolves watching on the side saw me in awkwardness and cheered, whistled and laughed at me.
"I told you how this banished bitch dared to be rude to our future Moon Goddess!"
"His Majesty will surely not spare the rogue who hurt his fiancée!"
"Long live the Wolf King! Long live Matthew! Long live House Ferall!"
......
What?
Linda is actually this man's fiancée?
For what? For her ability to seduce men?
This shallow wolf king!
Matthew threw me to the ground covered with dead leaves, looked down at me and warned, "Don't let me see you again, or I won't mind doing it to a woman."
After that he walked away, followed by a group of werewolves who were still cheering, while Linda stood beside him, not forgetting to look back at me with contempt.
Damned men and women!
I couldn't help but cursing.
But by the time everyone left, I was discouraged.
Linda had Matthew's back so I couldn't force her to give me the pearl necklace by violence. There was a good chance that I would be completely banished by the Wolf King.
What should I do with Linda and Matthew?
Matthew POV:
As I was about to get into the car and leave the forest, Linda suddenly spoke shyly, "Mr. Ferrall, thank you for saving me. If it wasn't for you, I would have been killed by my sister for sure."
I looked at her affected movements and expressions and didn't want to say anything.
Five years ago, she found me and said that she was the one who slept with me that night, but I didn't like this hypocritical and superficial woman.
But in order to be the wolf king, I had to engage with her and make her my mate.
Seeing that I didn't answer, she continued to hit on me: "What brings you to the rally? When I called you in the morning, didn't you say you didn't have time?"
Seeing the look of displeasure on my face, she changed her tone again, "Of course, I'm glad you're here because I missed you."
I hate it when women tell me these mealy-mouthed love stories.
But she was at least my fiancée, so I had to gloss over the situation: "I'll come over after I'm done with the company."
Linda still refused to give way, which disturbed me.
I crossed over to her and opened the car door: "I have a video conference tonight, bye."
But Linda didn't want to let me go. She blocked the car door and asked anxiously, "Mr. Ferrall, are you free tomorrow night? My father would like to invite you to the pack ......"
"Not available."
Having said that, he stepped into the car, closed the door with a blank face and told the driver to drive.
"Your Majesty, may I ask where you are going?" The driver asked me.
Actually, I didn't know where I was going, and the video conference with Linda was nothing more than an excuse to leave.
And I didn't even know the reason why I was here.
As if by fate, when I got off work, my wolf told me that I must go to the mating rally in the Misty Woods tonight, but he didn't explain the reason to me.
I thought about the woman named Rebecca just now.
She was the first person who dared to challenge my authority, and, she didn't seem to be afraid of my wolf king aura; when I used it, she just had a momentary pause and wasn't affected by it.
Moreover, she gave me a sense of familiarity.
Had I seen her somewhere before?
I guess not. She had been banished from the pack by her Alpha when I visited Theron's house, and I couldn't have seen her.
Besides, she was very good-looking, more so than Linda, her half-sister.
How could I forget such a person? I have the best memory in the family.
"Rebecca Theron ......"
I meditated on her name and my wolf Simon suddenly stirred.
"Matt, what's wrong with you? Your heart is beating fast." He asked me suspiciously.
I pressed my hand to my violently beating heart and asked Simon back, "I don't know, isn't it your influence?"
"No," Simon denied, "I was awakened by your rapid heartbeat. Matt, what did you just do?"
"Nothing." I took a few deep breaths to calm my heart. "Maybe I was just pissed off at a woman."
After comforting Simon, I called my most loyal Beta, Max.
Max quickly picked up the phone and greeted me with respect, "Your Majesty, good evening."
I responded, "Check out this Rebecca Theron for me."
