Instantly the interrogation room fell silent, Belle, who had been pulling Miranda's hair, had forgotten that she was still pulling Miranda in her hand and backed away in fear after hearing Christian's questioning. And Miranda screamed out in pain.

Christian's gaze shifted to her as he took a step towards him, his powerful aura causing Belle to lose her manners and drop to the floor, and could only murmur, "This has nothing to do with me, Miranda made me do it, I didn't do anything, it's none of my business."
