As Matthew finished speaking, Vivian and Charles also immediately turned their heads to stare at me, looking a little panic, as if they were about to be abandoned by their mother.

Seeing them on the verge of tears, I rushed to reassure them, "No, I haven't met my mate or someone I like yet, but we need to be prepared, don't we?"

But the kids didn't believe me and two little heads came together and said, "Based on the way Daddy is acting right now, I think it will be hard for Mommy to fall in love with him."

I saw that Matthew's face sank.
