I couldn't help but feel confused by his sudden change in the serious tone, but I answered him anyway.

"The moon goddess. Or rather, the moon goddess of my dreams."

Matthew's expression didn't lighten and he frowned at me, "The moon goddess in your dreams?"

"Is there a problem? This is what the moon goddess in my dream looks like. I think all werewolves have dreamed of the Moon Goddess at one time or another."

Matthew's expression softened a bit and he asked me gently, "And did the Moon Goddess say anything to you when you were in your dream?"
