It was the weekend. Hugo asked his father to take care of the councilmen. He never told his father any reason. It was the very first time Hugo ever asked his father to do anything for him. All his life, he had been an obedient son. He never defied his father once. That was the reason why Howard didn't even try to ask Hugo the reason he needed three days off.

Hugo wore his casual clothes. He had a basket in his hands. He walked into the kitchen garden of the palace. The one his father made for his wife. Angela loved to be around the plants....
