I suggested to Nancy a little lie: tell him she went with one of her many millionaire friends she must surely have. But her response surprised me: she doesn't have any friends other than Kyle.

When you see Nancy, you'd think she's surrounded by friends. I mean, she's pretty, impatient but friendly, and she seems intelligent. Plus, she's a millionaire. Didn't she have elite friends?
