ERIC'S POV

"Boss, did you hear what he just said?" one of the rogues asked the leader, while he nodded and his frown deepened almost immediately.

"Boss, he is really daring us to touch the old woman again," another rogue added, shaking his head like he couldn't believe it.

The leader stepped even closer to me now, his face showing nothing but rage now.

“Just who the hell do you think you are to stand before me and dare me?” The leader of the rogues asked me, with his eyes burning with fury.
