CASEY'S POV

After staying with Eric for a while, I decided within me that it was time for me to go and see Derek, since he wasn't making any attempt for us to continue the search.

I can't just sit back relaxed when my kids are out there in danger, scared, and hoping for someone to come rescue them.

I was seated with Eric on a fallen tree now, so I stood up suddenly. “Casey, are you okay?” Eric asked me, concern showing in his voice.

“Eric, I'm not okay, and I can never be okay,” I responded to him, making him gasp as he also stood up...
