"Casey, I can see it in your eyes that you are hurting and worried about something, so please don't lie to me," Eric said, his voice soft and low, as he fixed his gaze at me as we both continued taking slow steps forward.

I can't possibly tell him that I was thinking about Derek and Addison and had been listening to them while we were both walking together.
