CASEY'S POV

After Eric asked me to return inside, I had my seat on the bed inside the small hut, but my entire body was outside.

I couldn't stop thinking about Eric out there fighting those rogues all by himself, knowing what rogues were capable of after what they did to me days ago.

What if they hurt him so badly, like the rogues hurt me that night? This question rang in my head as I stood up from the bed, almost immediately, and started pacing to and fro on the hut.
