Casey's POV

Tears streamed down my face as I gripped Derek's arm, my voice trembling with fear. "Derek, please... is there any rival you know of who would do something like this?" I asked him.

Derek's jaw tightened, his eyes darkening with an emotion I couldn't quite name. He exhaled slowly before nodding. "Yes."

My heart clenched. "Who?"

"Alpha Ethan," he said, the name falling from his lips like poison. "He's been my rival for years. If we want to win against him, we're going to need more warriors. Many more."

I felt the blood drain from my face. Alpha Ethan. I'd heard whispers of that name before...
