CASEY'S POV

Hearing Eric say that to me made me realize just how much he actually cared about me and wanted to be with me.

While I was with Derek, he was never for one act all jealous; rather, he made it clear to me that he couldn't fight for me, so if I wanted to be with him as his mate, I should stay away from other men.

But here Eric was, trying to be close to me even after admitting to loving another man before him. He still wants to be a part of my life.

Eric was nothing like Derek, and I feel really lucky...
