“We should get on with this,” I whispered with a hint of nonchalance, my heart racing so fast my eyes began to spin.

He jerked up in frustration. “That's not the answer I want, love. We're a couple, you're supposed to be interested in me the same I am in you, but you're not,”

“I am,” I countered weakly because he was right.
