“There's an influx of sales on our shares, sir. It feels like everyone wants to be a part of our company,” Isaac, my personal assistant said.

“That's good. It means more growth and money,” I replied flatly, staring at the charts on my laptop.

He continued giving me updates and then he informed me about the meeting with Mr Michael in the next twenty minutes. A wave of irritation spread through me knowing that I'd share the same space with Lyra.

She was an important part of the company and had a good amount of shares so putting her at the back seat wasn't an option.
