“Hi,” Reid muttered, stepping into the living room and running his fingers through his hair.
He looked uncertain and a bit scared to be around me and I could tell that it was because of the guilt from his previous misdemeanors. I'd forgiven him, but I wished he could forgive himself.
“Hey, best friend. Why are you staring aimlessly like you lost something? Have a seat,” I nudged him cheerfully as I plopped down on the hammock chair that Rowan had bought for me a few days ago.
