Chapter 16

Chapter 16

Marcos went into a friend's workshop in the back street and paid for the repair of the motorcycle he had bought last week, after having regularized his documents and his motorcycle license. A used Honda in red and blue. He put on his helmet and accelerated. He arrived at the farm that he had arranged to meet with a rally group far from the city, in Colombo. The group was gathered on a low mountain that would be the starting point. The farm was extensive, only accommodated a few cottages and the rest was bush and few reliefs. Five competitors positioned themselves above the mountain, among them, Marcos in fifth place. A car nearby was playing electronic music and some guys were drinking beer. When the signal was given, the five started out making the bikes roar loudly. Marcos let the four out in front and then followed them by jumping off a ramp a short distance from the starting point at full speed. Sand with leaves and twigs fluttered away abruptly as the ferocious wheels touched the ground. He got into several turns and obstacles. He reconnoitred the extent of the place, the others must have been far enough away by now. He turned the bike 180 degrees and took off voraciously. He recovered quantities of yellow flags that he had seen to fulfill the objective of the race. When he saw no more, he returned following a shorter trail. When he arrived he heard the screams of the fans vibrating their victory.

He still can't decipher if the screams were really for him, another competitor could have arrived earlier. But as he got closer to the final stop, he saw no one but the crowd churning above. He gave a small smile inside his helmet, spun the bike around again causing the fans to sway with euphoria. But his smile had been placated with the arrival of another contestant. To brighten up his arrival before him, he gave a superhuman boost and soared into the air above the ramp in an incredible maneuver that left some flabbergasted. The roaring sound of the motorcycle and tires in constant circles, seemed to dance in the air, until they hit the ground again and expelled grass and sand everywhere. He gave one more boost and jumped again. The frightened audience pushed their way up the mountain making a spaciously safe opening for the angry competitor to land. Marcos made the bike almost dance as he planted the voracious tires on the ground beyond the finish flag giving fans a vibrant vision of his triumph. The screams echoed louder.

The other contestant arrived at the final point in second place. When he took off his helmet, he revealed an unsatisfied face. He got off the bike and approached Marcos as if to congratulate him, but he stretched out his arm in a clenched fist and hit him with fury.

- What's your face? – He shouted after feeling his fist crack the bones of his face.

"You cheated!" he yelled, waving his arms in the air.

- No - Marcos stated.

"You don't even have the beep," he accused.

- What beep?

The competition leader tried to calm the mood by explaining that he had made the mistake of not having put the rotating beep on Marcos' bike because he had arrived just in time for the start, five minutes late, which made him forget to warn him about the beep. . However, the second-place opponent didn't accept the leader's clarification and raged dissatisfied, going up to Marcos, accusing him of cheating. The other contestants arrived and watched the ruckus without taking sides.

- You have to learn to lose face - Marcos said trying not to fight back. But he had been hit with flurries of punches from the boy who had come in second.

"Look man," he said angrily between his teeth. - I only came here invited to compete and leave in a good way, beep shit or not, I won, followed the route and got my team's pennants - discreetly took the dagger he kept on his wrist inside his black leather jacket . - But since you're asking for a break - he gave a sarcastic smile. – I'll give you what you want. Marcos lunged at him, punching him in the face fiercely and finally driving the dagger between his shoulder and chest over his jacket, pressing until he saw blood seep through his clothing. The guy was agonizing in pain, his throat holding the weight of Marcos' arm that locked it. Her thighs forced by the legs flexed on top of them seemed to be held together by iron bars.

At the insistent request of the leader, Marcos, in turn, relented, ruthlessly slashing the dagger and wiping the blood on his jacket sleeve.

- Give him the twenty grand prize. I'm out - he said as he got on the bike. He started and left.

The club was almost full, but with enough space for young people to dance. flashed its lights randomly. Lúcia, Rafaela and Jânio happily danced on the dance floor. They made the most of their first weekend together. During the break between the songs, Jânio took courage and went to Rafaela. Her hands were sweating and she tried to contain herself not to give up on declaring herself to her friend. He wasn't an ugly boy, he kept his hair cut short with features, defined physique, thin, brown brunette, small and charming eyes, thin lips and 1.76 height. His father was a descendant of indigenous Kaiova, son of a Polaka mother, as well as his ex-wife, Jânio's mother. Her miscegenation gave her an exotic beauty. He took a DJ course in the United States on vacation, increasing his passion for making electronic beats. He had also secretly fallen in love with his friend and sometimes it suffocated him, only Lucia had encouraged him to confess, but he was afraid of stuttering and ruining everything. But today. a determination had taken hold of him ever since he'd seen Rafaela in a bold, demure style. She was an Afro brunette with shoulder-length hair that was straightened down to her waist. She was 1.68 tall, with generously full lips, almond-shaped brown eyes, slim and standard Beyonce body.

He approached her slowly, taking in with each step the position she found herself on the wall next to the small hallway that led to the bathrooms. Heel 14 with golden straps, tight black pants, dark denim corset, golden bracelets and earrings that highlighted the color of her skin and hair in a Viking hairstyle. Her lips glistened with the gloss, parted as if waiting for a kiss. He imagined what it would be like to kiss her, squeeze her waist with his hands and smell her neck. He stopped shy, almost trembling.

- Have I told you that you rocking today? He swallowed hard to avoid stuttering. Rafaela put down her cell phone and looked up at him.

"It's not," she confirmed, making a model pose towards him.

- Yeah... You look very beautiful. I always thought…" His voice trailed off.

- I let you down, right Jan - cast a seductive look at him. Jânio was apathetic with her relaxation towards him. “I know.” She kept her gaze fixed on his. - Yeah... I know your little secret.

- Little secret? He frowned in surprise.

"Yes," she said, pulling his shoulder. – That's why I took care of myself today just for you – his heart pumped blood like never before to his veins. His skin heated up and his breathing became uncontrolled.

-I... Rafa... Me - he realized the foolishness of stuttering and suddenly fell silent, averting his eyes from her.

-Why don't you come closer and kiss me soon - he gave a sly and undeniable smile.

-It will be a pleasure - he smirked making Rafaela bite her lower lip and fall into his noble seduction.

Their lips touched slowly. They had never actually kissed anyone. The kiss started out shy, soft. Janio savored the taste and decided to keep his mouth demanding, asking for more. He gripped her waist with his hands just as he'd imagined. She didn't push him away and he took her cue. to explore her back with his hand. Rafaela felt her skin burn and her legs wobble, she internally confessed that Jânio was capable of conquering any girl with those gentle, demanding and malicious kisses. And she was overcome with jealousy at the thought of other girls queuing up just to get a kiss from him. How had she not realized before that her friend had a more intimate interest in her? How could she let Jânio go unnoticed, maybe she even nurtured a deeper interest in him and hadn't touched herself before. Maybe it was fear of risking such a sincere friendship for a night like this, but he would never regret it, now he knows he never will.
