Chapter 2 1

Chapter 2 1

Come on, Alisha!

Run as fast as you can!

You're almost there!

And that's exactly what I do too. I run and as fast as I can. I wouldn't do it voluntarily, but I have no other choice, otherwise I'll be in trouble again. Which is slowly becoming a routine for me.

Why do I run through the street like a crazy person and people look at me strangely?

Well, I definitely understand it.

I look like I just jumped out of bed and left the house a few minutes ago. And it is the truth.

After all, I couldn't get ready otherwise I'd be late, which is the case right now.

But it's my fault. Because I stayed awake a little longer than planned. I only wanted to watch one more episode, but it ended up being the whole season.

Well, typical common sense!

Alisha Gilbert, my name. And no, I am not the sister of Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries. Everyone who hears my name constantly asks me if she is my sister. But how can she be my sister if she's just a TV show girl and I don't even know her in real life? We just have the same family name and nothing more.

Well, I would never in my life sleep with two brothers. I found them, in the series, just cheap. Very easy. First she starts with one brother and falls head over heels in love with him. But when he's no longer there, she throws herself at the other brother, who is obsessed with her one way or another. And I just don't think that's correct. Even though it's just one series, I just thought it was cheap.

(PS: MY OPINION!)

Why am I running for my life?

Because I'm late again. My lesson started a few minutes ago and while Mrs Smith starts her lesson, I'm running to school like a madwoman.

But the truth is that I heard the alarm, but I just didn't want to get up. I was just too tired and just wanted to go back to sleep. And now I have to hurry.

However, I need a clever and credible explanation for Mrs Smith as to why I'm late again and only when she gives us a lesson. I'm never late with other teachers, but with Mrs. Smith it became my routine.

It's not my fault that I keep being late for her class!

Maybe my fate just doesn't want me to take her classes!

-

After a few minutes I finally see my school. All I have to do is walk across the street and I'll finally have made it.

Actually, I should stop now and look left and right, but my brain doesn't react and just wants to cross the street and finally enter this school.

However, as I wanted to cross the street, a car suddenly began to brake sharply, so that I stopped in shock and, with my front side; turn to the car. I drop my bag on the floor and hold my breath. My eyes widen and I see death before my eyes.

The car stops in front of me with full force and I just stop breathing.

And so, you can quickly lose your life without thinking about it!

But luckily the car stopped. Apparently God has other plans for taking my life.

I continue to look at the car in shock. I barely see the driver. Just his shadow. But not his face.

But I'm not thinking about him anymore because I only have one thing on my mind.

School!

And then something clicks in my head again and I gasp. Without saying a word smut, I bend down and reach for my bag. Then I stand up again and look at the driver.

"I'm terribly sorry! I wasn't thinking when I wanted to cross the street!" I apologize to him and look at him again until I turn around and walk over to the school.

Oh, Alisha! You're bound to get into trouble again and again!

Who did you inherit that from?

-

I knock on the door of my class.

Please she is not present today!!

I know what's going to happen to me now!

And I don't feel like arguing with her.

Maybe I'll let it go today.

But maybe because my day didn't really start well today.

I hear a very familiar voice say 'come in' and I enter the room where everyone is already there.

And when I entered the class everyone turned their attention to me. I especially feel Mrs. Smith's attention on my skin.

"You seem to have found your class after 15 minutes, Miss Alisha. "What a miracle," she growls at me, slightly annoyed.

Yes, she growled at me. A growl, which the animals also do when they see their prey.

In this city, werewolves exist, as well as normal people. My friends are werewolves, except Atea of course. She is a normal, everyday person like me. Even my own family are werewolves. Ethan, my brother, was born into an animal, while I was born normally. Unfair.

Of course it fucks me up that I'm not a werewolf. Apparently the demigoddess of werewolves didn't want me in her gang.

Just unfair!

But more will come later.

Finally she continues to stare at me. I smile slightly at her.

“No matter how many times I apologize to you, I know for a fact that you will not accept my apology. For this reason, I don't try to explain why I show up late to her class again," I say honestly.

Honesty is in my blood. But not always.

Smile, Alisha!

That's exactly what I do too.

" You've been through the night again, my love!" I hear Daya say in my head and I look at her discreetly.

An ability that werewolves can do!

"Yes! I made it through the whole season," I say. " Not again, Alisha! You're always late! You should change that slowly!"

I internally roll my eyes.

" Stop giving me instructions in my head! At least help me!"

I continue to look at her discreetly. She shakes her head in disbelief.

May I introduce. My other best friend Daya, who is also our Luna. Because she is our Alpha's mate, who is also sitting next to her and smiling in amazement.

"Mrs Smith" she suddenly calls out to the teacher, who keeps growling at me.

She turns her head and smiles at her.

Puff!

Not that she smiles at me like that!

No!

She has to growl at me!

I internally roll my eyes.

Just because I'm not a werewolf or a Luna doesn't mean you can't be 'nice' with me too!

"Yes, Daya?" comes Mrs Smith.

How she ingratiates herself with her!

"Don't be angry with Alisha. I called her in the morning and told her to get me something from home as I accidentally forgot it. That's why she came too late" she tries to save me.

I mouth 'I love you' and smile at her.

Oh how I love her!

"Naturally. I understand that," she says afterwards, while still having a smile on her face.

Dan, her mate, sitting next to her, just shakes his head and simply smiles.

Of course what Daya said isn't true, but at least she helped me out, and I love her for that!

Mrs Smith turns her head back to me and of course her smile disappears again. She glares at me.

"Next time, I expect you to show up to my class on time, Miss Alisha. Otherwise you will have to face consequences and this time I won't turn a blind eye!" she tells me.

I nod immediately.

"Yes, I promise" I give her my promise that I won't keep it either way and sat down in my seat, which is in front of Daya and Dan.

"I love you," I tell her quietly.

"I know," I hear her say behind me.

Oh, what would I do without you!

-

After a while I turn to Daya.

"Daya, where are the others?" I ask her quietly.

"Delya and Dylan didn't want to come today because they had to do something and Atea said she would come next hour," she tells me.

Oh, typical Atea!

She keeps skipping school without even telling me!

If she had told me, I wouldn't have come either!

What am I supposed to do at this hour without her!

“We are expecting new students,” comes Dan.

I look at him questioningly.

"New students? Why is that?" I ask him quietly.

He nods.

"I think there are three new students moving here. They become part of this school, but not part of our pack because they already have a pack. Even among these three students, one of them is the alpha. "My father decided this way because it meant we could make several friends," he continues.

So more students also means more werewolves.

"Werewolves, then?" I ask him.

He just nods.

The holes.

Even more animals.

I start to sigh internally and turn back to the front.

I don't understand why we are accepting more people into our city. We are enough people who live here or not!

I was new once too and I think that was a long time ago. I was only 3 years old when we moved here and it really wasn't fun living here because I thought I was the only one who wasn't a wolf.

But luckily I found several people who weren't wolves either.

So, later on I didn't think it was such a bad thing to be part of this city. Eventually I met a lot of people who became my best friends.

I met Daya and Dan right away when I started school here. The two of them immediately became friends with me.

Later Atea joined us and then there were several of us. Then there are the others, Delya and Dylan, who are also together now because they are mates and Dylan is Dan's beta.

Dolphins. I met her later after she moved here and became Ethan's mate.

Yes, what a coincidence.

Soulmates.

All animals, except Atea and me. We're both just human.

But for now let's get to this wolf thing.

Alpha. Let's put it in plain language. He is the leader of his pack and therefore the strongest of the other werewolves. He has more power than anyone else and also has several gifts. An Alpha can be identified by its red eyes when it transforms. His form when he becomes an animal is much larger than the form of a normal animal. His fur is black. You can recognize an Alpha even by his presence. Only werewolves can sense this presence.

He has the strength, speed, hearing from far and also the ability to heal. Not every wolf has these abilities. Only those who are Alphas have these abilities.

Beta. He is the second half of Alpha. He is where the Alpha is and can make decisions with him. Most of them are best friends. The Alpha can of course decide who can be his Beta and who can't. Betas can be recognized by his blue eyes, even when he transforms into an animal. Its fur is usually brown or gray.

Omegas. Omegas are packless. These are werewolves who don't have their own home or have been rejected by a pack. An Omega can be recognized by its green eyes when it transforms into an animal.

Luna. She is the Alpha's Luna. When the Alpha has found his mate, she is then the Luna for his pack. She is, so to speak, the mother of the pack and looks after the other wolves. A Luna has white fur when she transforms into a wolf, even her eyes can be white. But not every Luna has white eyes. They may be disappearing.

Mate. Every wolf has its mate, which it now has to find. A mate is, so to speak, the soul mate of the wolf.

The demigod has created a mate for every wolf, but you just have to look for her.

How to find them?

You can feel it immediately when the mate is standing in front of you. Once you find her, you fall in love with her straight away and you feel the need to never let her go again. The heart begins to beat faster. You get goosebumps on your skin. A cold shiver runs down your spine and you can't think straight.

And so that everyone can see that you have already found your own mate, you mark yourself.

Mark. This plays a very important role with the wolves. When a wolf has found his mate, he must mark her and that means the male wolf must bite his mate on the shoulder or neck, causing them to bond together. In order for this to happen completely, you have to have slept together beforehand. Then the marking is complete.

People who are not werewolves are transformed into animals by such a marking. Then you are no longer human but a werewolf.

My brother Ethan said that you can actually turn into a wolf and only with one bite.

I don't know whether he was telling the truth.

I mean, everything I was told sounded so complicated that I stopped caring.

And while I'm in my thoughts, I'm suddenly touched on my shoulder, so I come back to myself and turn my head to Daya. I look at her questioningly.

"Alisha, where are you with your thoughts?"

"Anywhere but here" is what I say honestly.

"Miss Gilbert!" Mrs Smith suddenly says. I immediately turn my head to her mouth and immediately see her angry face.

"Where were your thoughts again!" she scolds me.

Was I really that deep in my thoughts?

"I'm sorry," I apologize to her.

"I really hear 'I'm sorry' from you a lot," she continues to complain.

Ignore her, Alisha!

She rolls her eyes.

" He's staring at you!" I hear Daya's voice say inside me.

I turn to her again, confused.

"What do you mean by that?" I ask her confused.

"You were in your thoughts for a really long time, Alisha," she tells me.

I just lift my shoulder up.

Well my thoughts are more interesting.

“Look ahead,” she asks me.

I look at her questioningly and turn to the front.

I immediately see three faces standing in front of the class and introducing themselves.

The new ones, too.

As I examine them, I stop at his eyes, which constantly stare at me, as if I belong to him alone.

Damned!

I immediately hold my breath.

Fuck!

His look!

His burning gaze that keeps looking at me!

Oh, holy shit!

Who is this guy and why do I feel like I know him!
