“Alisha” Daya calls my name.

I turn to her and see her coming towards me, along with Atea and Deyla.

“Yes,” I say.

She looks at me worried.

"We heard what happened before between Tris and you," she tells me. "Did he hurt you?" Atea continues. "I'll kill him!" Deyla says slightly angrily.

Inwardly, I'm very happy that I have friends like that.

I shake my head.

"He didn't hurt me. "You don't have to worry about me," I say.

"What happened?" Atea asks me and stands next to me.

“You know Tris. "He's not doing that, the first time," I tell them.

If I could, this guy wouldn't be alive already!

"Oh, Alisha. You should have called us," Delya tells me.

"I can't always call you when I'm in trouble. Finally, I can defend myself, thanks to you. And besides, I called Ethan, but he didn't show up," I say, slightly annoyed, since Ethan is never there when I'm stuck inside somewhere.

Where is he!

"Instead of Ethan helping me, Damian had to help me because he saw everything," I tell them.

When I mentioned him, their eyes widened in slight shock.

"Wait! The Alpha helped you!" Atea says, surprised and shocked at the same time.

I nod.

"Yes, he has. "I'm still shocked that he helped me," I say.

I really didn't think he would help me.

Neither of us know each other.

Or is it?

Well, I do have this feeling that I know him somehow.

"I'm really speechless," says Delya.

"Where is my brother?" I say, annoyed.

Daya and Delya look at each other briefly and then shake their heads.

Did I mention that they are sisters?

No?

So, yes, they are sisters.

"We don't know," says Delya.

They lie.

"Say it! Where is he?" I ask the two of them while crossing my hands in front of my chest.

"He's where he always goes and you would never go voluntarily," Daya tells me.

When she said that I exhaled slightly angrily.

Not again!

I told him not to and he still goes there!

"He's there again and at this time when he should actually be at school!" I say annoyed.

Without saying another word, I walk past the three of them.

Now he can experience something!

"Alisha! Where are you going!" Atea calls to me.

"Where my beloved brother is and where he shouldn't be," I call out to her.

"We're coming with you!" Delya calls out.

Of course they come with us.

I stop immediately and turn to them. The three of them look at me questioningly.

I start to grin slightly and as I do so I throw my arms on my hips.

“Tell me,” says Atea.

“Since we no longer have classes and it will soon be dark, we are welcome to go to where my brother is. We'll probably meet your mates there too," I tell them.

When I said that, they looked at each other.

"I don't know if that's a good idea, Alisha. "Dan wouldn't want that if he saw me there," Daya tells me.

"Oh Daya, he'll definitely be happy that you're there," I tell her.

"Dylan will kill me!" says Delya.

I just roll my eyes.

"And Atea, who will kill you?" I say and look at Atea.

"Oh, I actually want to go there," she tells me.

I didn't expect any other answer either.

"Deal. We will visit this place and I will clarify it with your mates so that you don't get into problems. So, go home now and get ready slowly. Because there's a party waiting for us," I tell them.

And I'm going to kill Ethan!

I am looking forward to it.

He himself doesn't want me to go to parties like that.

But I'll change that tonight. Tonight I'll go to a party like that and find him there. After all, he can't forbid me anything, even if he's my older brother.

I mean, he does everything he wants and completely ignores me, no matter what I tell him.

Now the time has come. All dressed, I wait for my girls to come pick me up since I don't have my own car, otherwise I'll take Ethan's car.

Ethan owns a car, which I don't understand since he doesn't need one. After all, he is a werewolf and can transform at any time. He can run. Then why have a car?

I really don't like going to parties. I just can't stand parties because it's way too dark, smells like sweat and the music is way too loud.

And besides, there are only werewolves there and no people. Who would ever willingly be in a room where there are only wolves!

Luckily Atea comes along. So I'm not the only one who isn't a wolf.

I just chose a red dress that shows a little more skin than all the other dresses I own. I left my hair open and straight. I also put on a little make-up.

Since I want to have fun today, I'm going to overdo it a little tonight.

And there's already a knock on the front door. Without thinking twice, I go to the front door and open it with a big smile.

"You look hot, my pretty!" Atea commented on my appearance when she saw me.

I turn around in a circle.

"Of course, I look good! " I say playfully.

Even she looks good.

"You look very hot too, my love," I tell her and look her up and down.

She is wearing a black short dress that has straps and goes down to her thighs. She also wore black high heels. She left her hair open and made light curls. She's also made up.

Beautiful.

Then my other two girls come up to us.

Daya und Dayla.

They both look so pretty. Their mates will be shocked when they see them.

“There are a lot of werewolves there,” says Dayla.

"I didn't expect anything else," I say.

We're standing in front of this club where this party is taking place and somehow I feel like I can't enter it.

“Guys,” I say and turn to the three of them.

They look at me questioningly.

"Should we really do this? "I mean, I wanted to do that, but now I kind of don't want to do that anymore," I say honestly.

"I actually don't want to go in there myself," says Daya.

"Yeah, me neither," I say honestly and continue talking, "What was I thinking! I just wanted to get my brother out of it and nothing more!"

And I really wanted that. But now I just feel naked in this dress.

“Let’s get him out of there and go back home,” Atea says.

Yes we can do that!

"Good idea! We'll go in, get him out of there and leave straight away," I tell them and they start nodding.

Then we should go in and get him out of there.

I then turn around to the club and go over to the party. The girls follow me.

As we entered the party, the smell of sweat immediately hit my nose. This makes me feel like I'm going to puke.

Hang in there, Alisha!

I look around the area. Werewolves. A lot of them. According to Dayla, there are a few people here too.

But I still don't understand why they all come here and get drunk.

Who would do that voluntarily!

Me, definitely not.

"There he is!" I hear Daya say and I immediately follow her gaze, which is directed forward.

I immediately see Ethan and his mate Delphine.

And somehow I get the feeling that I'm angry with him, that he's actually here and not where he's supposed to be.

Of course I walk towards him, the girls following me until we stop in front of him.

Daya stands to my right and Atea to my left and Delya stands next to Atea.

I cross my hands over my chest and glare at him. He looked straight at me when he noticed us.

He immediately stands up.

"Alisha! What are you doing here?" he tells me.

"The question is: What are you doing here! I've been looking for you all day today. You weren't even there and when I was in trouble I called for you but you just weren't there. Instead of being with me to protect your sister, you go to parties to party!" I tell him angrily. Even when it's light outside!

"Daya! What are you doing here!" says Dan, who is now standing next to Daya and looking her up and down.

"Alisha wanted to get Ethan out of this place and we, all of us, accompanied her," she tells him as he holds her closer to him.

If I weren't so angry at Ethan, I would find the way he holds Daya close to him really cute.

But I'm angry with Ethan.

"Alisha, go home. I don't want you to be here! That's not for you!" he tells me a little sternly.

"But you can be here and not me!"

"Alisha!" he says annoyed.

"No, Ethan. I've told you many times not to go to parties like this, but you still go. So, I won't do what you ask of me either. After all, you don't do what I tell you either!" I tell him.

"Go home, Alisha!" he tells me seriously.

Okay, he's annoying me.

"No! I will not go. I'll stay here and you can't forbid me! Just because I'm human and you're a wolf doesn't mean I can't do the same things you wolves do. "So excuse me, I'd like to have some fun," I tell him, smiling at him.

"Are you coming with me?" I ask my girls after I turn to them.

Yes, they have other plans.

Daya is busy with Dan, just as Delya and Dylan are busy with each other.

So, it says, Atea and me.

Without thinking much, I grab Atea's wrist and pull her with me towards the bar.

"What can I get you two pretty ones?" the bartender asks us as we sit down on the empty chairs.

"Just give us something where we can switch off and have fun," I tell him.

He nods briefly and immediately disappears.

After a few minutes he comes back and hands us two glasses of alcohol, which we accept immediately.

"Well then Atea, let's have a little fun, even if I don't drink anything like that," I tell her.

"Alisha, I think I'll get sick if I drink something like that," she tells me.

So I can say that we are both good girls.

I feel a burning gaze on me, but I ignore it and concentrate on this cup.

"Come on, Atea! I know you don't like this stuff, just like I don't like it, but we'll do it! And maybe tomorrow we won't regret doing it," I tell her.

She continues to look at me thoughtfully until she starts nodding.

"Agreed! "Then we should do it," she says.

I smile at her.

But before we could drink this cup, two guys stand behind us.

We both turn around at the same time and I immediately recognize that they are these two new students.

Dean and Damian.

Damian stands behind me and just looks at me.

I look at him slightly shocked and leave the cup back on the table.

Goosebumps form on my skin as he burns me with his gaze.

Just look away, Alisha!

And that's exactly what I do too.

I turn my head back to Atea, who is currently being completely stared at by Dean. She seems nervous. I see goosebumps on her arms.

Wait a minute.

Is he your mate!

As if!

Dean is Ateas Mate!

Damned!

Why didn't I think of this long ago!

I immediately start smiling.

I bend over to Atea and whisper in her ear.

"I think he's your mate," I whisper to her. She immediately looks at him in shock.

I straighten myself up again.

"Hey, I'm Alisha," I greet Dean and offer him my hand. He looks at Atea briefly until he looks at me.

"I'm pleased. "I'm Dean and this is Damian," he tells me and points to Damian.

I just nod.

"And this is Atea, my best friend and probably your mate, right?" I ask him, smiling.

He nods, ashamed.

I shake my head smiling. Then I take my cup and drink it.

"It tastes terrible!" I complain to myself.

But somehow it's addictive.

Without thinking much, I take Atea's cup and drink it quickly, knowing full well that she won't do that since she's busy with Dean.

Eventually they literally stare at each other without talking to each other.

While the two of them stare at each other, Damien continues to stare at me.

"Why do you drink if you don't actually drink alcohol?" he suddenly asks me and my head immediately turns up to him.

His voice gives me goosebumps and it feels so different than any other man who has ever spoken to me.

I just lift my shoulder up.

"Because I want to show my brother Ethan that I can do what he does without my permission," I tell him honestly.

He doesn't say a word. He just looks at me.

Unfortunately, Atea is concentrating with Dean and completely ignores me.

So, I have to continue partying alone.

Without saying a word, I put my cup on the table and stand up.

I walk past him and towards the dance floor.

On the dance floor I just start dancing by myself and move my hips.

I haven't felt this free in a long time and finally I am.

There is something good about being human. You don't turn into an animal. You don't have the skills or responsibilities that an Alpha does because he owns a pack. I don't have to find my mate either because I don't need that in my life since I can fall in love with anyone who isn't my mate.

And that's just as well.

Just being normal. Living a normal life is the best thing you can ever have.

Yes, somehow I'm missing something in my life and I know for sure that it's my family that I'm missing.

I lost my mom very early and live alone with my father and Ethan. My father lost his mate after she gave birth to me.

That's why my father blames me for her death. But luckily he never hit me or insulted me. He's never home because he's always on a business trip and that's why Ethan looks after me. Everyone in my family is a werewolf, but I was born human without anything particularly werewolf-like about me. My father said that our grandma was also human and that's why I am human.

It somehow makes me sad that my mom is no longer there to protect me.

I stop and open my eyes, since I closed them during the dance, and notice that I have tears in my eyes.

Oh, Alisha. You're so emotional.

I just wanted to have fun and nothing more.

And I want that too.

That's why I wipe my tears away and just smile.

Then I start dancing again and try to have fun.

That's exactly what I need too.
