I slowly open my eyes and immediately see the sleeping face of Damian, who is lying close to me and snuggling up to me. I automatically start to smile.

His eyes are closed and his arms are wrapped tightly around my body. I continue to look at him and smile more as I remember last night.

It was a beautiful night and I mean that literally. Even that bite was painless. I didn't think that a bite wouldn't be painful, but I guess I was wrong. Of course it hurt at first, but then that pain went away, which made the feelings I had for him at that moment stronger....
