I couldn’t get over the fact that Ava spoke to me in such a manner. I had always viewed her as someone who wouldn’t do something like that, but she had disappointed me.

She was always acting meek and avoided confrontations, but she had even gone to the extent of threatening me. I wanted to strangle her for doing so.

All of this would have never happened if not for my grandmother; she was persistent in getting me married to Ava and providing an heir, and Ava was taking full advantage of this.

She knows my grandma will always back her up, and she has suddenly grown wings....
