Chapter 6 *

Ava POV

I felt downcast after, almost turning the palace upside down in no result of seeing her.

I walked back to the room that was given to me a few hours ago.

Ava!! Ava!! The sound of Luna Anastasia yelling my name jolted me out of my thoughts.

What are you doing Ava, your bags have been packed everyone is waiting for you, what are you doing here?

She asked touching me by my cheeks, merely looking at her one could see the affection any mom would have for her long-lost daughter.

Luna Anastasia " Ma I was searching for my grandma and then I came to see this room for the last time.

Ava, I'm your mother, call me mother in our pack Luna but I'm your mom Ava.

She said touching my cheek, as tiny drops of tears trickled down from her eyes and stared at me.

I felt bad for her and the way she was crying endlessly, I'm still trying to adjust to the new development of Luna being my mom, but seeing her shed tears broke my heart.

I stood till watching her, I felt the urge to pull her up and console her, and I did.

Mom I called out to her for the first time, thou the word sounded strange to me it was cool that I had someone I could call Mom after all those years.

Ava!! Did you just call me mom? Luna Anastasia asked.

Yes, Mom let's go Alpha ZETH must be waiting. I said to her smiling as she couldn't hold back the happiness in her.

We walked out of the room heading to the outside of the palace.

I looked around and noticed that Adrain might have left already, I felt a little bad for not seeing him once again.

Let's go Ava" You have wasted lots of time already. Alpha Ethan said coldly as he opened the car door for me.

I hopped in without glancing at him, Alpha Zeth and Luna Anastasia, including the park members, bid me goodbye as we set to Alpha Ethan pack the crescent pack.

****Six Hours later *****

As I stepped out of the car, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness in my chest, this new beginning in the crescent pack was something I despised.

And now I'm finally here, I don't know what to expect.

As I walked through the grand entrance of the Palace, I was greeted by the pack Beta, who arrived promptly to guide me toward my new room.

As I was being shown my room, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the luxurious interior and the two maids assigned to me for my every whim.

I was used to being a simple girl with no such luxuries in my tiny room, so all this was new to me.

The large size windows let in the warm sunlight and a massive king-size bed in the center.

In the corner of the room, my maids were busy fussing over my wedding dress, they smiled warmly at me when I entered, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for their company.

As I tried to distract myself from my nerves, my thoughts drifted to Alpha Adrain, I couldn't shake the memory of him from my mind.

His tousled hair, his piercing gaze, and the sheer force of masculinity seemed to radiate from his every pore.

I wondered what he was doing now, and whether he was thinking about me too.

I knew it was silly, but I couldn't help myself from thinking about him.

When I had arrived at the crescent pack, I had been hopeful that the change of scenery would help me move on from him and start afresh.

But as the night wore on, it was becoming clear that it wouldn't be as easy as I thought.

The maids helped me bathe and did my makeup, assuming that Alpha Ethan would be spending the night with me.

But as the night went on, I found myself sitting alone in my room waiting for Ethan to come.

I couldn't help but feel disappointed, I knew that this was a political marriage, but I had hoped for at least some affection from Alpha Ethan.

But it seemed that Ethan was too busy with his duties as Alpha to give me any attention.

I lay on the bed, listening to my thoughts, I suddenly felt a wave of exhaustion over me. The stress of the day gradually took its toll, and I fell asleep without even realizing it.

*******The next morning ******

I woke up and found myself lying on the vouch, with a blanket draped over me.

I looked around, confused, trying to remember how I had ended up there, I assumed that one of the maids had moved her in her sleep, and I smiled at their thoughtfulness.

As I got up and stretched, I decided to explore the pack, I wanted to see what life was like in the crescent pack and learn about my new home.

I dressed up in a comfy pair of jeans and sneakers, ready to walk around the pack.

I wanted to the people and the direct building around the pack.

As I stepped out of my room, I noticed that the pack was bustling with activity

People were going about their chores, children playing in the open spaces, and the smell of food wafting from the kitchens.

I felt a familiar sense of comfort, I had grown up in a pack and missed the sense of community I had known back then I smiled and walked towards the center of the pack.

The packing center was busier than I had anticipated. It was like a small town, with shops, restaurants, and even a park

I was amazed by the variety of things available in the pack.

I decided to explore the shops first. There was a small grocery store. A clothing store and a bookstore. I browsed through the selection of books picking up a few that caught my eye.

As I walked out of the bookstore, I noticed a group of teenagers handing around a corner. I walked up to them, smiling, and introduced myself. They seemed surprised to see me, but they quickly warmed up to me as I spoke to them.

They told me about the different social events held in the pack and introduced me to some of their friends. I was amazed by the friendliness of the people in the pack.

They had accepted me into their community without hesitation.

As the day went on, I continued to explore the pack, talking to the people I met and learning more about their way of life, I felt a sense of belonging that I hadn't felt in a long time.

My mind drifted back to the fact that Ethan didn't spend our wedding night with me, which made me feel confused and Isolated.
