“What are you doing, Alpha?” I asked Ethan as he was about to sleep beside me on the couch.

“What do you mean, Serena?” he replied simply.

“You can’t sleep here."

“And why not? This is my chamber.” Ethan said.

"Yes, but you know how cranky you get when you don’t get a good night's sleep, and that’s exactly what you’re asking for by sleeping with me on the couch."
