I stayed back in Ethan's room all through the night. I was seated on the bed, checking the clock now and then. I stood up and began pacing the room. It was late and Ethan was nowhere to be found.

I picked up my phone and dialed Ethan's number. It kept ringing, but he wouldn't pick up. I didn't give up. I kept trying to reach Ethan until it stopped connecting altogether.

I was getting tense and pissed. Ethan wasn't here, neither was Ava. I wondered if Ava had come back to the pack house after fooling around with Adrian, or had she slept with him there.
