I stormed into Wade's office, my blood boiling with anger and betrayal. I couldn't believe that he had kept the news about Elena's bail from me. How could he be so callous and indifferent to my feelings?

After everything we have been through together, I should be the first to know about this.

"Wade, how could you do this to me?" I demanded, my voice shaking with emotion. "How could you keep the news about Elena's release from me?"

Wade looked up at me, a mixture of shock and confusion on his face. "What are you talking about, Blake? I had no idea that Elena had been released....
