Chapter 2 Wade Wilson

Chapter 2 Wade Wilson

The storm finally passed, and I thought it was going to go on forever. The lightning almost made my soul leave my body with its brightness.

I yawned as I stirred from sleep, something wasn’t right.

The loud voice was an indication that something was seriously wrong. He perked up as he listened to the commotion downstairs.

“Miranda, what is it this time?” the man said in a calm voice

“I don’t know who she thinks she is. It’s almost time for you to get to work and she isn’t here making breakfast.” The woman yelled in a shrill voice.

“The girl was sick, what more do you want her to do? If the breakfast is that important then make it.” The man snapped.

“You are defending her, Ricardo.” The woman sniffed.

Everyone could tell she was faking it, but that’s not what I was worried about. I don’t know who those people are.

“I will eat on my way to work.” The man said as I heard the door slam shut.

I sighed to myself, they were making a lot of noise, which that did nothing good for my head. It was already enough that my subordinates kept stressing me by bringing the wrong files for my work.

I was screaming at everyone like a madman, no wonder my head wants to explode. I worked till late at night, I needed to get everything done before morning and I cracked the whip hard on everyone.

Taking over the family business at such a young age was not as healthy as it sounds, there were a lot of things to do as the boss. And they don’t look easy when you have lazy workers under you, whose job is to make yours harder for you at every turn.

I almost fired everybody last night after they messed up the little task I gave them last night, they made my temper get worse that I ended up trashing my office.

Thank goodness for my assistant.

“Go wake her up, she needs to make breakfast.” The woman’s nasally voice spoke up again.

I rolled my eyes as I got up from the bed. I was going to fire whomever that woman was for disturbing my sleep.

The knock came gently on my door but I ignored it, it wasn’t time for me to wake up anyway.

The knock increased as whoever it was couldn’t take a hint and kept disturbing my peace. Unable to bear it anymore, I marched to the door and wrenched it the door open.

“What the hell do you think you are doing?” I yelled at the young lady who stood in front of her mother, the lady with a nasal voice.

“Excuse me, young lady.” The woman said.

I glanced up at her and narrowed my eyes, I didn’t know who she was and why she was talking to me like that.

“You are excused, don’t knock on my door if you are going to stand there and gape at me like a fish,” I tell her.

Her jaw dropped as she looked at me, she raised a hand to my cheek but my reflex came up faster and her hand was in my tight grip.

She winced but I didn’t let up.

“Don’t you ever raise a hand on me? This should be your last warning.” I said firmly.

I released her hand as she huffed. She narrowed her eyes at me.

“I knew you were pretending to be sick so you can skip your chores.”

My eyes moved to the young lady who stood quietly staring at me. Her words registered as I turned back to her.

“Excuse me,”

“I need you downstairs so you can make breakfast,” she spat before leaving. Her daughter followed her downstairs.

I stood there with my eyes wide as I thought about what happened. This better is a big joke.

I slammed the door shut to my room and stopped short.

This wasn’t my room.

I rushed to the mirror and the image I saw made my jaw drop.

“What the hell?” I asked no one in particular.

I was in her body. And whoever this girl is, she was weak and she was having it rough here.

I took a shower and selected one of her dresses. I stood in the mirror as I dressed, I didn’t dare open my eyes.

I opened the door and my eyes met with the younger sister, she stepped back as soon as she saw the cold fury in my eyes.

I ignored her as I went downstairs, my shoulders straight and a cold smile pasted on my face.

I came face to face with the woman from earlier, I guess that she is the stepmother.

“I don’t know what you are up to but your father left work without eating breakfast while you were being lazy up there in your room.”

“So?” I shrugged.

“What do you mean so?” she asked with her hands on her hips.

She stared me down with a sneer on her lips.

“He is going to get an earful from that boss of his and you are not bothered?”

“If you were so worried then why didn’t you make breakfast for your husband?” I crossed to the other side and made myself comfortable being saying, “If you ask me, you are the one being lazy.”

Gasps echoed around the room. Both from the woman and her child in the room. I paid them no attention as I studied the room I was in.

“What did you just say?” she took a threatening step close to me but I cut her a sharp glare.

She stopped, “I wouldn’t do that if were you. Who is this boss anyway?”

“Wade Wilson,” the younger sister said.

It suddenly occurred to me, I was stuck in the body of my worker’s child but the question is how?
