As I worked during the day, I tried to get my father's words out of my mind.

It wasn't ideal to sneak into a party uninvited especially with dignitaries and powerful people present but if there was a chance that Wade was giving an award to a lucky winner then I had to make sure it was me.

With that on my mind, I focused on getting done with work and getting ready to crash a party. I know my father won't be so keen on letting me attend.
