"You smoke?",
I asked surprised when I saw him. Small tendrils of smoke snaked from the glowing stump in the cool air. Elijah leaned against the wall and took another drag. When he saw me he sat up and put out his cigarette. I didn't think he was a smoker.
I came to a stop in front of him and put my hands in my jacket pocket.
