I could not sleep.

In just the sweater, I lay on the floor next to my bed in a warm blanket. After about an hour of trying to find a comfortable position on the pillows, I realized I couldn't. The bed was too soft.

And now I was lying here staring at the ceiling. My thoughts seemed so loud that it was impossible to find even a little peace. Should I stay here? Would they come after me if I ran away?
