“I said what the hell are you doing here!?” Lucien’s voice boomed into the night.

I turned around and he was standing behind me. His entire body seemed tense, and his blue eyes darkened with anger as he stared at his brother.

“Hello brother.” Ryker said casually, his voice suspiciously calm.

That seemed to snap me completely out of whatever trance I had been in. I moved towards Lucien as fast as my legs could carry me that moment and ended up in his arms.
