Aria's POV

Beth's information about Victor comes back two days later. He trains every morning at dawn in a clearing near the border. Always the same routine. Always with the same group of warriors.

"He's predictable," Beth says during the meeting. "That's his weakness."

"How do we use that?" Marcus asks.

"We sabotage his equipment. Make it look like an accident during training."

Drogo shakes his head. "Too obvious. If his sword breaks or his armor fails people will suspect tampering."

"What about the terrain?" I suggest. "Is there anything dangerous about where he trains?"

Beth thinks. "There's a cliff nearby. Maybe thirty feet drop. They train close...
