Chapter 17

I don't see Alpha Drogo for the rest of the day. Sara says he's dealing with council members who are upset about what happened. Apparently Marcus left right after the meeting and a few others are threatening to leave too.

Part of me feels guilty about that. People are leaving because of me. The pack is splitting apart because Alpha Drogo won't let me go.

But another part of me, a part I didn't know existed until recently, doesn't care. Let them leave. If they can't accept me then I don't want them here anyway.

Sara brings dinner but I barely touch it. My stomach is still twisted...
